Walking barefoot after the fight, Yiole went upstairs to get some new shoes an redo her clothes and hair, but after giving a look at her nose and the blood trails from it on her fce and neck, she decided to have a shower instead. She undressed quickly and turned on the shower in a "Wash & tone up" program, and then she entered the initial soft rain of warm water as the universal law of Always In The Shower quicked in and her pad started beeping with an alert.

Yiole entered the bedroom, leaving beind a trail of drops, and grabbed the pad; then she read the alert and learned that CONCORD regretted to informed her that one of her contacts, Random McNally, had been declared dead upon a fatal failure of his pod during a combat at Amarr. The warning was followed by a second alert from a cloning coporaiton, reporting how a medical clone for Mr. McNally, Random had been successfully activated in a undisclosed station.

"Heh. So he managed to get himself killed". Her conscious mind was mildly amused, but deep inside her subconscious, a silly voice told her that the man she had know, the exact living body she had had inside her just a week ago, was gone. And albeit Random the person still was alive, it was not the same man who went to battle, tired and bitten and scratched...

Yiole was a pragmatist and so didn't indulged much into those thoughts: she had to finish her shower and then apply some antiinflammatory to her nose, have some Robo-Aide clean up the wet trail between the shower and the bedroom, order some new clothes -and a pair of shoes- and then inquire Laudenum about what was her business when she wasn't brawling with strangers.

The shower program ended and the universal law of Always In The Shower missed a second chance; and actually it was so late that the warning that Random's war was over catched up with Yiole on her way out of the appartment, properly dressed and with a itchy noise as the antiinglammatory nanites healed the tissue.

"So the war is over... does that mean that he's coming, then? With his new body?", asked Yiole to herself as she wondered wether newly activated clones could be considered virgin... As she still was in her "born" body, she couldn't tell first hand, and never actually asked Ishtanchuk about her experience with coming back from death in a new (or brand new?) body.

Whatever the answer, Mr. McNally was to be greated properly whenever he showed his scarred, bald face again. And would be better for him that he didn't decided to do anything else than rush back to Yiole and meet her as soon as possible. Pragmatist or don't, Yiole was a woman and she had her priorities (and Random's) very clear...
