Random awoke with a gasp. Drawing air into lungs that until that moment, had never drawn a breath. He looked around frantically, the surroundings unfamiliar. He did recognize some of it. He had been revived in a Matari clone bay. Two technicians in sterile garb were hovering over him taking readings and monitoring the systems of the clone chrysalis.

"Where.....where am I?" Random asked, focusing his eyes on the closest technician.

"Easy there, capsuleer." the technician said. "You are still going through processing."

His hand shot out, quick as a serpent and grabbed the technician by the front of his medical scrubs and hoisted him into the air. In a voice cold and devoid of emotion he enunciated each word. "Where. Am. I."

The technician gasped as he was hoisted off the ground. "Aldrat. You're in Aldrat."

Random set the technician down and sorted through his last memories. He was in Amarr. He was going to purchase a ship. He saw a war target outside the station and decided to engage despite the fact that the captain was warning him that the Tristan was not fully combat ready. He sent the ship into the engagement with fire in his blood when the Comet closed in to range of the Neutron cannons. There was an explosion. Pain.

He sat forward feeling the tug of the cables on his capsuleer implants. The technicians protested but an icy gaze silenced them. Aldrat. He was in Aldrat, the location of the last war his alliance was involved in. He shouted an explosive curse and began tugging connections from the implants.

He stood on slightly shaky legs and clenched his fists. This was a good clone with excellent musculature. One of the technicians tossed him a body stocking and he realized that he was nude. He pulled the body stocking on and with all the anger he could muster, stormed his way out of the clone complex.

"Well," one of the technicians said to the other, "someone woke up on the wrong side of the bay this morning."

Random called for an elevator and travelled to the Captains Quarters area. He registered on opening and proceeded to his quarters. When he entered he dialed for his typical clothing and waited for them to be delivered. He also contacted the central communications hub, checking to see if any of his personal items were in station. His face darkened when he realized that all his items were transferred by freighter right after the war with EVE University. Damned Laudenum was too efficient. He started pulling up nearby stations that would potentially have some of his items. A nearby system had a crewed Thrasher class destroyer and he sent a signal to the Captain to prepare to depart.

After a few additional minutes of arranging a transfer of his clone contract, he sat down on the couch and turned on the vid screen. He felt his pulse race. Delays, delays. He wanted to get back into the action. He dialed into the Concord notifications and was stopped short when he viewed the announcement that his alliance had dropped the war declaration. The fighting was over. He was halfway across New Eden, deep in Minmatar space and he had no war to return to.

He felt deflated. The tone from the processors signaled that his wardrobe had been delivered but he ignored the summons. He walked out of the quarters and down to the ship docks. After making arrangements with the Harbor Master, a pod was made ready for his use. He stripped out of the body stocking and submerged himself into the amniotic fluid. When clearances were received, he ignited the pod's thrusters and maneuvered to engage warp.

"Just a few jumps." he thought. I'll be in a ship. His first destination was nearby Rens to replace his lost implants.

Then, he sighed, back to Yiole.

I may hold a similar opinion.
