So we will not see a new login screen in Odyssey? Okay... The new ugly launcher is much, much better. Thank you!

One of two things must happen:

1. Move the bar out of the QA Department.

2. Move the QA Department out of the bar.

Horrible, horrible fail with this patch. Settings are gone, overview is gone, looks and feels like a clean install. Exactly who approved rolling this out, because they need to be fired. 105 pages of complaints and we're not even 24 hours into the new patch.

As a customer, I shouldn't have to employ a "workaround" and move a folder to get my settings/overview back especially after the testers on SiSi told you folks at CCP it was bad.

I shouldn't have to search the forums to find this "workaround" to make my game work.

I should see a dev blog post to include the "workaround".

This reminds me of the screw up with Unified Inventory. You were told by the testers then it was crap and you did it anyway, and we didn't get a fix for seven months. You were also told about issues with Incarna and you failed there as well.

This is EXACTLY why I won't beta test for you guys!

Why should I spend my time testing your product, your updates, your patches ...... when problems are found and you roll out buggy software?

almost 24 hours after release, and ppl still complain. Lol
Hey CCP, is there someone left? Or you got all fired? Or there was noone from the start, just a genial marketing blonde, secretly spying for Blizzard or whoever, awoxing your sh*t? Because tis could be the only reason for such lack of response on people's complaints.

I don't understand that. Since i joined EVE Online, CCP always support dual/multi box, but now, you have to start EVE launcher again and again and again... don't really get it what is point atm Question

Again. You don't have to. Run the executable directly.

Can we go back to old launcher please?

It was fine. Everything was fine. If I want to log in to your website I'LL LOG IN TO YOUR WEBSITE. If I want to play EVE Online I'll LOG IN TO EVE ONLINE!Evil

Being able to play this game presupposes that you have a certain intelligence level and that we possess a decent amount of patience and willingness to work(learn). We are not so lazy as to want to simply log in once to be able to access both game and website. And to include this feature, which promptly breaks the launcher, forcing your customers to find elaborate ways to bypass the buggy mess... ridiculous

I've barely been playing two weeks and then this happens. With stuff like the CSM and now CPA, the rigorous testing I hear you do on Singularity before releasing updates etc. I thought CCP would be different in releasing content that was thoroughly tested... it seems I was wrong.

FIX THIS!

For now that works but it looks like it will be removed. As far as i understand its now a pain in the arse to open multiple clients the new way, it forgets allot of account names, dosent allow different graphics settings for different account (not confirmed this myself yet)

Maybe with the new plex for double training thing they are trying to remove multiple account alts from the game, not sure why they would do this as the amount of subscribed accounts would plummet. Really feels like somebody dropped the ball here.

It will without a doubt be removed. CCP - making it harder to use your product every day!

New launcher is less efficient for people with multiple accounts.

I'm happy if you just add the old launch button - then people can choose how they want to launch the client from the launcher.

Yes, that is true and it my fear as well, but at least for now that works. I do doubt they'll merge the launcher into the main EXE though, so in the end it should still be possible to run the EXE directly (unless they rely on the security token for ALL log-ins from the client).

What worries me even more is the "cloud settings" talk. Given their track record, it will break pretty much everything. The idea is great (access all your settings like overview from any machine you use to log-in), but honestly, how many people play on more than one machine that it is worth the near inevitable mess that is going to likely end up coming out of this...

Meh.

It is almost like we are dealing with two companies here: The first part is the one that works on actual spaceships and balancing. The other is the one that tries to justify its existence by making up semi-completed "features" which break more stuff than they fix. Obviously, these are different teams at work, but one would think the oversight should be identical.

I don't get why the upgrades for CCP equal to "remove useful and comfortable features and lock the user down to the lowest common denominator".

First you remove Jukebox and dumb the whole game down in many (not so) subtle ways. OK.

Now I have to get stupid to launch 6 clients. WHY.
There was this ONE button to spam and start multiple clients and now I am supposed to resort to unsupported - and to be removed - workarounds like starting the EXEcutable.

Considering most EvE players have 2+ accounts this move is just DUMB.

At least make it so that the Username combo box lets you switch between the various users instead of locking in "tard mode" and only show a button to start 1 client else you have to press "switch", wait, then it shows the choice again.

Second, it's now a lot of time that the new launcher is out, but it still won't invoke MY browswer to open the links. Why?

I don't want to use terrible Internet Explorer yet the launcher WILL only launch it. No option to choose Chrome or Firefox and of course Internet Explorer is not even the default browser so WHY does the launcher keep starting it?

You complete dumbass bunch of morons. Why **** with something that NO-ONE had a problem with? 9 years of playing and each year you manage to screw something up entirely. This is right up there with when your dev's colluded with BPO's ingame. For fucks fuckety sake.

Roll it back and sack the pillock who dreamt this stupid **** up. Send him back to WoW where he belongs.

The new launcher is very pretty and all that, but like others have said, the SSO changes aren't really that helpful if you run multiple accounts. In fact, its a pain in the ****.

Also, since the update, my overview settings appear to have been nuked. Not very helpful!

Jumping on the "get rid of the new launcher" bandwagon.

I've had to reinstall the whole bloody game to get back into it. Great job CCP, I really love resetting my overviews inside the station...

I just get a validation failure after 10 minutes of it trying to load up, and then it gives me the option to actually play Eve.

CCP forgets that we're paying customers, how about an apology? I don't even like the new screen and didn't give a damn about the old one because I only looked at it for 5 seconds before playing the game... thanks for nothing. Fire the idiot who rolled this out without checking if it works.

I would love to add my support to this. The UI would be focused on the password edit so we could just enter our password and hit enter.
