EVE General Discussion

So....it looks a little easier to log in again to dual box, but...I have had to run a repair every time i wish to do a log in session. I have read the DEV posts about the launcher so yes i read about the ways to fix this. I have yet to do the manual installation of the Launcher. But I have heard from several sources that the exefile.exe in your EVE folder will bypass the launcher and launch EVE the way it did before with the log on in your EVE window and not a launcher(the way it was before this new release on the 21st. I just bypasses the launcher completely) Everything seems to be working fine this way. All my settings are still here and my overview is not reset(such a horrid mess it is to have to deal with that again after getting it perfect)

As of this moment I am not having any problems logging in this way. I still cannot log in with the new launcher as it says some sort of error code and then a huge code after. I would also like to hear from a DEV if logging in this way has any negative effects on the game. If not then I would rather just bypass the launcher instead of dealing with the problem this new launcher has at the moment and the headache of redoing all my personal stuff(channels, overview, layout of your screen). I mean...I wanna play EVE and I want to play now! So hence the reason using a exefile.exe shortcut to launch while the problems with this new launcher are being dealt with.

lol well its true i did have the description of what you can do in the topic.....The whole thing is mostly for a DEV's thought on the topic I would say. and I have now edited it to hopefully get more interest in it. lol thanks for bringing that to my attention
