Fix for now:

a) Go to Task Manager and kill any EVE related files, first of all (or better yet, reset your system if you're not tech-savvy)
b) Go to your Eve Install Folder and open the "bin" folder.
c) Launch ExeFile.exe

Repeat step C for extra accounts you may need to log in.

If that doesn't work for you, I don't know what to say.

Of course Multiboxing should be a first concern. Over half the subscribers in eve have more than one account.

They probably need again 3000 canceled subscriptions to make things going right way nad listening to players. U have to weaken their "real" money income to get their attention back.

Nice fail as all time since Apocrypha. This game was fine with apocrypha patch. From this one its goes just to worser and worser game.

Confirmed it works for me. The shortcut to *\bin\exefile.exe in on my desktop and it completely bypasses the funky "launcher".

Start the game anyways and it will ask you if you want to download a new build.


no i start the game and nothing happens, says incompatible protocol, but manually done the upgrade and im now getting the offline mode too lol



Ok then the only other option I can suggest is to go into your closet and grab those ruby red slippers and click your heels three times. Let me know if that works for you.

1. delete %EVE_DIR%/launcher
2. Download launcher install from wiki
3. Run repair.exe
4. Run %EVE_DIR%/bin/exefile.exe

I ran the executable in the /bin/ folder, had to install a couple updates, but now it;s running well for me. I hope this helps!

confirming that repair tool used about 3-4 times followed by exefile.exe worked for me.

repair tool failed 3 times then finally completed. keep trying it
