Get http://eve-files.com/temp/eve-update-20130521.zip, unzip in your eve folder, start bin/ExeFile.exe, be happy. Once the Server is fixed, you can use the launcher again.

Ran Repair and launched exe file in the \bin folder worked fine for me launcher still bust though Twisted

I have tried the workarounds, such as a direct launch, and when I get to the login page, it simply states for online status "Incompatible (Protocol)". I feel like I am going back in time to when we used to see that whenever we would need to install a new patch back over 5 years ago. I installed the patch for the new launcher, and it is saying that I have no connection to the server. The links you told me to go to timed out.

I'm currently repairing the repair tool to fix the launcher so that it can update to a new shiny launcher that will let me open the client by rummaging through the bin and get past the level 5 protocol boss and collect the 10 lousy interface circuits hidden in the exploding UI radial dial .
I am not liking this new hacking mini game.

GOSH ******* DAMNIT!!!

HOW MANY YEARS DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU GUYS TO ADD A DAMN FEATURE THAT SAVES MY UI SETTINGS!!!!

I take great care in setting it all up. Only to have all that work nuked in 2 secs.(Which also includes nuking all my custom key-binds

Played eve for years and this is the single most FRUSTRATING thing about eve.

Seriously code in some kind of built in backup so I don't have to do all this crap over and over again.

intresting, I tried all tricks: repair, Chribbas file, Bin\Exe file but it wont still work, reapir exe fails and complains that remote server closed connection and with Bin\exefile I just get in login screen and vóila incompatible version (protocol)
