Running Repair tool from eve folder worked for me...still liked the old launcher better :)

I'm still trying to figure out how to play the game in offline mode - that's an EPIC new feature. CCP, any hints?

I don't know why you guys are complaining - once they get offline mode Eve working, I'll be very happyz!

well. how rude of you ccp to push out broken content.

Auto update > Offline mode
Manual update linked in OP > Still offline mode
Disable all firewalls > still in offline mode
try to run the exe file in \bin > Game launches and tells me I have an incompatible version and begins update process for the twentieth time, then updates garbage launcher (again) which then restarts and tells me its still in offline mode.

but hey.. how about that twitter feed? cause we all know social networking feeds are what matter right?Roll

Used Repair tool (Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE) , it updated fine first time then run the bin file (Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin) and game runs fine.

Lets hope they sort it soon Roll

UPDATE: Got the client to work by running C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\ExeFile.exe



Frustration Mounts.....Updated Launcher....Then get the following "OFFLINE MODE" "You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content."

I've tried the following
"Restart Launcher" Link in Launcher....get the same results.
Manual download and install of updated launcher....get the same results.
Ran "repair.exe" it ran and gave me the message that the repair failed.
Tried just running the eve.exe and eve.exe (safemode) to bypass launcher....they both open the broken launcher.
Tried "https://client.eveonline.com/launcherv3" and get to "Launch eve online as: bishopgwa" but the "PLAY" button is grey and does nothing when I click on it.

Restart your Router and after it´s up again restart your Computer to get fresh DNS Tables.

This should fix the launcher probs.

It worked yup. Just unrar the zip file into your Eve folder, and launch exefile.exe.

I didn't lose my overview settings or anything else.

Start exefile doesnt' work - it loops indefinitely in update. Oops
