This, also for you multiboxers if you are running windows 7 still PIN the game (CCP ExeFile) to the taskbar, right click it then left click CCP ExeFile. It will open multiple windows to log into the game the old way.

And now the rotten launcher loads, but the login part of the screen is totaly blank, not like on your website where you can fillin your credentials. Logging in trough repairmode works fine.

(And YES i use wine and linux 64 bit (mint)) but that does not make me a customer that does not count for full.

Dang a lot of you guys are whiny.

This is a video game, if it doesn't work, go outside, talk to a girl, exercise, get a job, etc. Calm down!

If you aren't training, that's your fault. CCP implemented the training queue years ago.

They know that they have an issue, they're working to fix it. Be patient.

Since a lot of people can't seem to read:

The launcher is goofing up because the source on the webserver is acting up. Once it reaches the webserver it gets the info it needs to patch. They're aware of this, they fix that the launcher works fine.

Something something settings lost: there's a dev post for that, go read it.

Bypassing the launcher: You all really don't know how computers work at all do you? This has been how the game actually runs even before the launcher was a thing. I'm sure Macs can do something similar but junction your folders in Windows(google it), create pinned shortcuts on the taskbar/start for your different accounts and boom done. Getting the Pinned stuff to point to the right folder takes a little dance that I can't recall but it can be done. L2Computer.

Also - for those of you who are having problems with the repair tool: it's trying to access a file that's having problems with timeouts. Just keep restarting the repair tool - it'll eventually work.

Awesome work on your launcher.

I tried launching with /bin/evefile.exe it says invalid protocol on the login page

I tried changing the build number in commom.ini and launchin the repair tool, doesn't work either.

A word of advice, when a new feature doesn't work on that many client/computer/suscriber and that issue prevent the customers from entirely playing the game, then you should probably review your testing and QA process. Someone clearly screwed up.

You guys apparently aren't holding your tongue just right. Here is the process breakdown:

Hold tongue to the far left and up almost to your nose.

Stand on right foot only while keeping all toes except your biggest one on the ground (almost impossible)

put left hand on top of head and pat it like you would a small puppy

put right hand on stomach and rub in a circle like your belly is full from good food.

Think about puppies and unicorns prancing in a field of flowers and strawberries

Take a nap....

Wake up later and play....
