I was able to get it to work. Launcher still times out, but it did install fine.

Try rebooting your computer if you haven't yet, that usually seems to fix my "open launcher but nothing happens" problems.

What helped for me:

Bypass launcher with exefile.exe, then it will say incompatible BUT after 1-2 minutes waiting in the loginscreen it will download the update... very slow, but this does the trick!

(But very great that the community has to find their fixes themselves...)

This is concerning that a computer gaming company can not update a launcher.

1. They knew of this problem in the testing server and released it anyhow.
2. They have little to no quality control and are PURELY profit driven.
3. You can tell the Dev's bought in to the "Buisness" side of the company.


This is what I am getting...

You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content.

Rollback, fix the problem on you money not ours

CCP never roll back their mistakes.

These guys are going to pretend they didn't royally mess around thousands of customers 10 minutes after this is fixed.

Why should I have to do that. Try testing **** before you release it, and try crediting my 6 accounts that I can't play.

If it is any consolation, startrekonline is also down for shard maintenance (6 hours long) :D

Cant even raise a petition now and other applications are failing on the same drive after the patch.

Lost all confidence in this company absolute amateurs yet this company has been running 10 years.

Jesus don't know how. This is looking like the good ole oops put the wrong ini in the wrong place patch all over again.

This happens pretty regularly, it's why I refuse to waste one minute of my time testing, when they ignore test feedback anyway.
