I agree with piece of dung. Says Tranquility is online, but I get this exception every time I try to launch a client. I can hit ok or Start Eve.

Crashed and burned like the beta always has on Sisi. Anyway after finally getting the new launcher started:

"You are seeing this because no connection could be made to the content server or something went wrong while loading the online content"

Daring move to roll this out, I must say.

Also the launcher.exe process doesn't close after closing the launcher window.

Also; it takes around a minute to start the launcher on my laptop.
It's not shiny new, but EVE runs well on it.

1. Alright interface, But what's going to happen to the login screen for the client? Like the music and the cool art.
2. Dual/Triple/Quad boxing is a pain because I have to hit sign in as someone else each time I launch a client.
3. Launcher is slow to load more than one account.
4. HTTP download implementation is good, not everyone can use bit torrent.

This thing wasn't working on Singularity properly either, I had to remove all the spaces in the EVE folder for it to work properly there.

Anyway, my wife wants to extend her thanks to CCP for rolling out a launcher that is successfully preventing me from playing EVE.

I've also been getting the following ever since the new launcher automatically updated itself:

Thanks for boning multiboxers more and not giving us a choice about how we'd like to sign on. "Fancy toy" doesn't count as "fancy" when it's marginally useful for you and messes up your other fancy toy you really really like.

If you're having terrible launcher, please decide not to push through a garbage upgrade without some option of disabling it.

if you want to skip the launcher in general, or if you want to play now that this update borked up the launcher :)
