What major changes should I be aware of?

Also, any guilds recruiting? My character is still frigate level, but I'm not afraid to do grunt work.

4 years is a long time, so most things have propably at least been tweaked while you were gone. The list of changes is too long to bother typing. You should go visit the expansion page and at least look through the major features.

I can also tell you what hasn't changed. Referring to corporations as guilds is a good way to antagonize people, so you might want to avoid doing it when applying for a corp.

You should be aware of most all of them if you want to survive. Try the patchnotes section of the website.

Yep, never really had a problem finding a corp as a low level player before.

I play EVE when there is something i'm doing in my life where it isn't a huge distraction to make a decision every 10-15 minutes. That's why I'm basically not afraid to be a mining bot.

Welcome back, a Synopsis of changes since 2009

1) Wormholes (no local in them)
2) Change to scanning
3) Various nerfs and buffs to ships and mods
4) new Toys (T3 Ships, Tier 3 BC's, Tier 2 Destroyers)
5) New models and textures for ships.
6) Captains Quarters
7) Industry Buff (Macks > hulks for solo)
8) New industry Ships (Nocits, Orca, Venture)

Thats all i can really think of, I'm sure theres more as well.
