Did you put in a new API key or are you still trying to use the old ones that don't work any longer?
Well maybe you are.... Very odd error indeed. Chribba would maybe know =)

I think there's generally something wrong with the API atm. I'm getting all sorts of errors in EVEMon, most notably with the mail cache; but I recently got Scotty as well.

Do this,

Log on with your new details, if it asks you to register characters press "Register" (even if there's no characters there). Once you see your "home" screen you should have the pilot listed there, press "Save Settings" and the API information should be updated.

Else poke me with your api info in an evemail and I'll take a look at it.

if you are using firefox and copy pasting the api key,

the eve api screen will show something like this for the code:

"jhfywopngx"

and the paste will be:

" jhfywopng"

just delete the space at he start and copy again the last character. this error wont happen if you are using chrome so it seems its a bug with the browser.

This isnt a copy paste issue. My EFT and iPad Neocom today started generating this error. Neither have had recent changes done to their keys. I upgraded EFT and reloaded the key for this toon and it still fails to load giving this error.

Yeah, the API servers are having trouble, and for some reason CCP hasn't said anything about it...
