adding companies to eve

I own a corp, I am CEO wow..... members ? well 3.......

mmmmmm....

I think, for sure with eve growing, that maybe a new entity can be intruduced: the company.

ITs far smaller then a corporation, and can only handle.....like 15 people?

ok now its time to shoot me from the sky Cool

It should be possible to create a company under the corp the ceo is in. Yes also in NPC ones. Providing a possibility for small groups to make some advantage in group work, like sharing some kind of storage etc and have a channel (last can be done always so its not really a big deal)

I don't want to force people to care bear, not to fo for just pvp. I am just thinking of extra ways to play eve.

Trust is a beautifull thing, you hardly can find in eve :) so if you want to join a corp with a few friends its all or nothing.
With a company you could enter the corp and see how it goes..... Ofc people can say make a corp and join an alliance...well an alliance with 10 people in it sounds even worse then a corp with 3

A company could have a wallet with 3 slots as have their storages.

other rules? i don't know maybe other people have ideas.

And for the companies under a npc corp. Because i hear some of you cry about people avoiding war decs..... If people want to avoid war decs let them.......just as there are miners in high sec that would love to see suicide ganking be gone or wardeccing in high sec...... pro's and con's everywhere. I think people should be able to play they want in the game neither one forcing others in their game play.

Why?

Take 100 people 50 care bare and 50 heavy pvp
change the rules against care bears result: just leaving 50 heavy pvp so they didnt win one extra target
change the rule to care bear result: just carebears and no one will buy **** anymore

Both results: 1/2 the revenue so 1/2 the money to upgrade this great game!!

So for you both :) try to play as if its 2 games by accident on same server :p and let all enjoy

And here's where the rub is.

There was someone who explained it best:

"It's a sandbox"

But then, some bright spark in the back pipes up, EVE is a sandbox, so I should be able to do whatever I want. EVE is indeed a sandbox, however it is a Multiplayer Sandbox. The definition of a sandbox is not "I can do whatever I want", it is that rather than providing a specific experience, the game provides an environment and tools with which to craft your own experience. For single-player games, these definitions are functionally the same. The problem with a multiplayer sandbox is that not only can you do whatever you want, so can everyone else. You want to mine in highsec in complete peace? The game lets you. It's the other players that are the problem.

The hypocrisy of demanding the freedom to do what you like, while simultaneously demanding or celebrating the curtailment of other people's playstyles should be self-evident, but apparently it's not.

Bolded the important bits.

And for the record... both PvPers and carebears force their styles of play on each other right now. PvPers rule the spacelanes by blowing up people's ships. Carebears rule the market by peddling their goods at prices they choose to set.

But we're digressing from your idea...

- what would be the benefits of having such a company besides a shared wallet?
- would the NPC corp tax still apply to the company?
- would the company be able to set its own tax rate independent or in addition to the NPC corp's?
- could you declare war against a company?
