Hi Guys,

I know this question get's asked a lot, but I can't really find any up to date info on the topic and there have been a few changes recently from what I understand. I have come back to EVE after a little break and am trying to make some money and have some fun :). My goal is to be a gentleman pirate. Hurt few, steal from many, make money. Pirate

Just curious as to what the best frigate is for this at the moment in your opinions? I have a lot of Gallente ship and weapon skills so have been looking at a Incursus.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

incursus, atron and tristan are all viable tbh for what you want

Nice article, however flying AB frigs solo in lowsec is a little dangerous nowadays due to the popularity of fitting the 'attack' frigates as MWD long point kiters which really eat AB ships.

I like the Kestrel because if it goes MWD fit it can still project all it's dps to the edge of scram range so you're not so susceptible to being range controlled by AB frigates while maintaining some ability to slingshot kiters (which is an essential skill). MWDs are also generally more useful than ABs for travelling/burning away/to gates etc.

Its not that dangerous, just pick your fights.

Don't go into plexes with condors for example.
