as you may know ccp had gathering stories that shaped eve , foolish believing i can have a chance of winning somthing i put my story on the bord .

as usual people with storys that are in big alliances gonna rumn with the prices as usual endorced by ccp

https://truestories.eveonline.com/ideas/top

i'm not saying the storys are bad but it proves ccp favours the big alliance and forget about the little man
is it rigged nope is it fair nope .

top story is the mittani atm with a story of 2009 . mm thats not a dacade thats only 4 years ago , what about the storys that happend in 2004 2005 the beginning of eve i wold sugest that ccp change the voting how you ask wel do it a bit fairder and expand to the decade .
somthing like this .

topstory 2004 (beta)
' 2005
2006 and so on so you have a reflection of a tru decade

its not for the price i write this , its for posparity so our childern known about all the corperations and alliances that chaped eve in the early days

nuff sad over 9 years in game atm and still loving it

People can vote what they want, I don't see how CCP could (or should) do anything to change this. Why are nullbloc votes any less valid than yours?

It was never a contest to begin with. Mittens wanted a free Icelandic vacation and CCP needed to create some cover in order to hold back a community shitstorm. Nothing really wrong with that, it's how the real world works.

Oh, and not much interesting stuff happened that long ago, because people didn't whine anywhere nearly as much back then.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

The whole selection system was pretty bad to start with, if they wanted them to be picked on merit alone. I for example haven't read any of them, but voted just goons, since it had the best chance of producing delicious drama and tinfoil hattery in the future.

i'm also in a nullsec alliance , and i agree but how ccp handled it is a bit unfair.
the say on fanfest they whant a decade of storys so it reflect that players shaped eve ,
they better had a top story for every year . everybody known the downfall of bob

do everybody known about xetic (biggest alliance in game at that time) 2005 i wrote the story 3 ups because the link ccp provides only favor the top storys
people don't read hours in a row tru the storys they vote only on the first page

how about the landmarks . first outpost in game ,first titan first titankill . and so on

i already read them well in the old days we realy shaped eve because we where whining about everything so ccp had to get all the bugs out of the game or exploitable mechanics so basicly the game you are now playing whas shaped by me and the 12000 people that where online at that time .
damn i miss the node deaths the lag the log on traps no capitals no posses it whas so peacefull then

I know, right! It is a pretty great place. Well, at least the parts where they don't bury all the sharks to eat later.

The tin foil hat is strong with this one.

You should be celebrating the fact that EVE is the only game around that would see player organisations brought down by politics and intrigue and this story is a prime example. If I wasn't a Goon I'd still vote for this story because its a good one, so good that the word limit for the story won't even allow the full thing to be printed.

You've obviously never been in a big WoW guild before.

Have you ever seen two neckbeard guild leaders fight over the guilds only "girl" before? It gets pretty rough, especially when you're finally going for server f....second and people start getting cut out due to the associations they make. And then somebody takes all the Frozen Orbs out of the guild bank.

It's madness.

Watching a Eve series or comic about BoB disbanding ? No thanks, already heard it a thousand times and you can just google it.
