loyalty points store

wouldnt be time for it to get fixed?

and some of you might ask : why ?

heres why : buying implants and selling them bring very little profit if you consider your lp woth 1m for each 1000 points right?

so for example you want to buy and sell a + 5 implant that costs you 65k lp and 65m isk just to make a profit of about 45m at best.so you end up paying 130m isk to get 45m isk.

lp store and tags.

tags are so expensive,if you want to buy high end modules,ex : tracking computers, magnetic field stabilizers, etc, chances are you might end up paying more for tags + isk than to just buy one of market.anything wrong in there?

Agreed the LP stores generally need to be looked at, there are some that yield almost no profit for any items, because of faction tag prices etc.

With the shifting of the market over the years and the preference of most to avoid faction damaging missions, the prices for a lot of these items don't really make sense.

if you consider that most of those modules come from FW LP stores and FW pilots earn ALOT of LP and prices are generally lower in FW LP store - that makes a huge impact on non-fw LP stores and their exchange rate. Prices are not a problem of LP stores, its all about supply and demand on market.

Opinions are like assholes. Everybody got one and everyone thinks everyone else's stinks.

I dug around a bit and found a old, abandoned and ignore thread from a dev about the lp store asking for feedback on it from 2009.
Oh, and I'll also just plug my idea about Insignia Streamlining because I found it while digging around. Pirate

the FW LP store has skewed it since the revamp, but it has been an issue for far longer than that.

As an example the Ammatar LP has almost nothing in it that can even turn a profit because of the prices of the tags. A lot of the mods are exactly the same as TS or RF etc but it will cost you 110mil to get an item you can sell for 90... if that isn't broken i don't know what is.

Honestly I don't think it makes a great deal of sense that the FW LP store and the normal stores sell the same items. it puts people using standard LP at a massive disadvantage. But that's a slightly different matter

i do neither anymore so it's hardly an issue to me.

that is a horrible argument. by your reckoning we may as well just get rid of the standard LP stores? people should be free to make a choice of how they make their income, and shouldn't be pushed into any set way because they are competing against people in the same market that have a massive arbitrary advantage.

u are free to make a choice.

u can chose FW where u have restricted access to space and the risk of perpetual war decs but a better LP reward system

or u can run missions which are **** easy to the point of boredom, dnt restrict ur travel, dnt have to worry about other players (as much i guess) but suffer a lesser reward system.

this way players can select a career that suits the game they want to have.

so why dnt u do it? why dnt more ppl do it?

face it. most ppl prefer the safety and freedom of missions over the rewards of FW. if there IS an imbalance, it seems its that missions are too safe or too rewarding when compared to FW.
