Trouble upgrading trail account

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade my account, but I am having trouble. I am currently overseas in Japan and when I try to upgrade, it kicks me to the Nexon page, which shows up in Japanese.

This is the page it keeps kicking me to: http://eveonline.nexon.co.jp/shop/login.aspx?paymentCode=3D6B84074E1C3C5DE4D67491B1AF62B1DF94E9650BEC89FB0E10DEFFD2AAA9A1

I tried deleting out the .jp But that did not work.

Anyone have any tips on getting it to come up in English?

There might be an easier way but the only way I can think of off the top of my head would be to use a VPN. The website is essentially looking at your IP address and seeing you're in Japan and acting accordingly.

Sites like this one offer VPN access for free so essentially, you'd connect to them and the visit the websitte.

you may have to just use PLEX for right now. CCP has some (terribad, apparently) agreement with that provider to handle all the .jp accounts.

alternatively VPN back to the states/europe before going to the account management page.

Thanks for the replies.. I tried a VPN, but the page would not load. I will try again.

Also, I can not buy plex unless I upgrade my account, which takes me to the Japan page...

Learn japanese?
Ask someone that knows Japanese?
Tell CCP they terribad for not offering page in English?

The problem is that instead of using the normal account management page, EVERYONE in Japan has to use Nexon (even if they're not a Japanese National), so it's causing the OP a lot of trouble.

OP, you can too buy a PLEX without being a full account. If it's not available through CCP, then use shattered crystal or battleclinic/deep space supply to buy a GTC.

i second the idea to use a 3rd party gtc seller, the ones listed above me are all legit and authorized bt ccp to sell the codes

Ask your mommy or daddy to sub your account from where ever (s)he is. If (s)he is not with us or jail or mentally incapacitated or wants nothing to do with likes of you, try other extended family. Problem solved.
