alright, personally i think its extremely stupid that you cannot repackage containers that have been touched (in anyway it seems) until 2 weeks have passed.

I can see why the cooldown is there, but i disagree with the length and that it resets when you look at the log.

Is there a workaround of anyway other than just trashing it and buying a new one at a different station?

Also for future reference, is there a station container that doesnt have a log or cooldown that gives decent size? Honeslty just need a way to sort between 1k M3 and 100k M3

I think what you are looking for is a Freight Container.

I hope this helps

I like that you can't repackage station containers after using them, because I regularly repackage everything in my hangar to keep it organized and I generally forget about the containers that have stuff in them when I do that.
I don't think the timer needs to be 3 weeks though. There should just be some way to manually "lock" and "unlock" the container from repackaging.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

Re-name the container "Officer Modules"

All audit log containers (station containers included) are the same if I remember.

I guess it's so someone can't take something from a can in a hangar and be able to hide the evidence by repacking the can.

But it could be written in to the code that only the CEO can repack a can under the 3 weeks limit, but tbh it's a fairly minor issue generally so a bit of a waste of coding time. Although it is annoying when you end up with cans dotted around stations titled "Empty 30/03/12" or whatever so you know they're empty and can go back and dispose of them.

For CorpHanger i guess it makes sense, but for a personal hangar... Meh.

Anyways, thanks for the responses everyone, and thanks for the Freight Container idea :)

@ Emma Royd - Dating the container is what I do too. (I give it a "Package after" date)
If the CEO could package the container it would just make it easier for CEO's to steal from their corp.
The feature works as intended I think.

@Naevea - You are welcome.
