Hi,

Please consider a new station class - super stations, that allow the docking of super carriers OR titans.

Limit:
1 per region
Two types - either super carrier or titan, not both
Require all development indices at 5 (mil, ind, sov)
Require existing station

Additional features:
Allow hybridized bonuses (i.e. combined benefits of two or more racial outposts)
Enable region wide upgrades (reduce POS fuel consumption, greater jump capital jump range, more incursions)

Consideration:
This also means you can finally sell supercaps/titans on contract/market.

Well, many supercap pilots will want to get out of their flying coffins. This gives them a chance to do so. Yes, it is very expensive for the benefits:

1. Supercap pilots benefit from an alternative to CSMA's.
2. Builders can stockpile supercaps in one location.
3. Traders have a good regional hub to sell capital/supercapital parts.
4. Corp thieves have a new avenue to steal assets.
6. When DUST514 comes, this potentially would be huge station environment to PVP.

Supercaps are supposed to be inconvenient. Not supported.

I'm not fond of the idea that you are forced to choose between titans or SCs. Why not have both? It sounds allot like you want to split up super cap fleets of sovereignty holding entities. This would also force allot of alliances to settle on region borders and own systems a small number of jumps apart as to own 2 stations for their super fleet.

Eve is about Capital ships, WiS, Boobs, PI and Isk!

Exactly!
Or negotiate strong pacts for docking rights.
Or conquer the neighboring region.
Or park half the force in station, and other half in CSMA's.

May seem counter intuitive, but having strong borders/border relations as a result ultimately benefits the rest of the region in terms of safety and growth.

Also it discourages putting all your eggs in one basket. Both attacking and defending become more strategically interesting when your opponent forces are in two different areas.

Lastly, you can sell titans/supercaps on market/contract when docked.

great now every suppercap pilot has not 1 but multiple SC so when he gets killed he just undocks a new one and jumps right back in the fight :(

where is the acomplishment in killing a SC when the pilot shows up in a new one 5 min later ???

and did you think on how hard it would be to take that station when their entire suppercap fleet is docked in there ??

anyone intrested in playing docking games with a titan ??

He shows up in a new one 5 minutes later, you can kill another supercap. The cost to build remains the same.

Hopefully pretty hard - that's the point. Also, it would be only half the fleet if you read my original post - either titans OR super carriers.

Would love to play docking games with titan. A titan is much, much easier to bump off docking range than bump out of POS shield. In fact, it is the easiest of all ships to bump.

I like the basic idea.

So this will become a big storage in space, without any other functionality, or did i understood it wrong?

I would allow both, titans and sc, to dock, cause these are static structures and they can be camped, so if an alliance put it's whole supercapfleet there, then they risk to be camped 24/7 and loose there use. Without clones there and other ways to dock, when conquered, they would also risk loosing acces to ships parked there.

I would also only limit it to1 per constellation, in the hope that smaller allis one day will rule 0.0, or multiple alliances would be able to live in one region^^

Supercaps need pos moorings is all. Pos, anchor ship to module, enter password, leave ship. You are limited by the pos anchorables, if the pos gets taken down, and supers are in it.... free supers!
