I have just bought a new computer system with a gtx 680 grahpics card, and i want to buy 2 new computer screens to go with it. I want a resolution of 1920*1200 ( 1080p is not an otion), and because of the fps games i want 2 ms.
But i can't find any new screens with 1200p, they are all 1080p when u want 2 ms.
So any suggestions for a good 1920*1200 screen?

I am from Denmark, EU,and desperat, google has failed me, my current screens has so bad colors. I am willing to pay 450$ a screen if it is the right one (1920*1200, 2-3 ms)

I didn't know where to put this thread, so sry if it is totally wrong.

Dells and Sammys both are great, and $350 US or less each typically.

I'm partial to Dells. Good over all monitors at a decent price with a low failure rate. I use currently a 27" and a 24" WFP series.

That said, there are only a hand full of companies that make the actual screens. So if you find a good review on something, you can likely get a monitor from another retailer that uses the exact same screen. Possibly at a better price.

When buying monitors, you will not be wasting time by putting in a little research time before making your purchase.

Recommending this, but get the most recent 23" version instead, it has MUCH faster refresh / much less input delay. It's in the top 10 fastest LCD (including TN) panels while still being an IPS display and having amazing color.

Samsung, FTW. Nearly everything in my flat is Samsung. I'd buy Samsung underwear, if they made clothes.

Dell U2412M is very good and has the 1200p res that you were looking for; I have a pair of these and absolutely love them for every use (including gaming)

Dell 2312HM is cheaper but only 1080p, which was a deal-breaker for me.

Last time I looked at screens was 4 years ago to buy a 23" for $280. Would have figured that they would be much bigger/cheaper.

Meh, This is the best monitor.
http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2011/06/07/a-closer-look-at-the-ps3-3d-tv-split-screen-gaming-redefined/

Pros
It is designed for PS3, however I use it with my computer works amazing, It has awesome HD and the screen its self looks nice. The 3D also works for other computer games. Good screen size not too big not too small.

Cons
It uses a lot of CPU cause of the HD and decently large screen size.

Hunt like animals, kill like animals.

Get a 27'' 2560x1440 Korean one ? They sort of fit the bill, for that price you can get one with additional control board which can take also HDMI / Displayport inputs. The cheaper versions only take DL-DVI.

The "2 ms" number is marketing btw. You should not buy your displays based on marketing numbers.

24" Samsung Syncmaster 2443.

It's 1920x1200.

You probably can't get them anymore.

The following are bullshit marketing terms
5ms/2ms
10000000000:1
FULL HD

Widescreen is **** for everything other than watching movies.
IPS is a waste of money.

Remember 1920x1200 pixels @ 27" is still 1920x1200 pixels, just that they are bigger. Bigger pixels are bad.

The sweet spot for 1920x1200 is really no bigger than 24"

Best advice is go to your local superstore and look at the ones plugged in and turned on.
Some that look great on paper and have everything you want look washed out and rubbish.
Huge TVs with 1920x1080 @ massive inches have pixels the size of your fist.

Trinitron CRTs are probably still the best monitors ever made.

I have a Hazro 30" and it's built like a tank. The screen real-estate can't be beat.
