Didn't know where to post this, but I thought it needed to be posted.

This news article was linked today. While I'm sure that the CCP Live Events / Storyline team didn't intended it, this post has been made on the same day that news surfaces about religious riots leading to deaths in Burma.

I'm not placing any value judgements here. Just thought that it brings the story a little closer to home, and brings home a little closer to the story. Fiction is supposed to be about exposing the human condition, after all. For good or evil.

It's gotta be hard writing all that stuff, why not just copy a news story?

bullshit.

You just cynically co-opted a horrific real world event, which you proceeded to tenuously link to some in-game drivel it had absolutely nothing to do with beyond some very superficial similarities, as it it were some profound realisation that needed to be heard. One can only assume this aspect of The Human Condition you were Exposing was the hope imbeciles would mistake your cynical desire to post for gravitas and hit Like.

No, actually. I had been dealing with the "in game drivel" that the CCP devs had been working on for a few hours, and ran across this article. No one else had mentioned it at all, so I thought I'd post it here. I don't much care about likes. If I did, I'd be posting in the Like and Get Liked thread, or whatever it's called.

I hope that you can put your cynicism behind you.
