Some people are saying don't put effort into it, just release files with hack info - please No!

I'd like to see the EVE launcher modified to include separate install configuration check-boxes for Low, Med, High and Ultra textures for:

Nebula Skyboxes
Celestial Objects
Ships and Everything Else

Default to High but ask on first install.
Include more procedural/tesselation techniques where it makes sense e.g. celestials, nebulae, stations

I'd like the implementation of this to be professional and seamless.

Please don't make me log into each of my accounts just to +1 this thread :D

I would love to see higher-res textures even if it were a purely optional addition. While the game generally looks amazing for a 10 year old title, some elements do show their age. I am very happy to see a war of attrition with these things though; I've been playing for less than 2 years, but in that time I've seen remarkable improvements and a steady stream of hints of more to come. This texture pack would only be another step in the right direction.
