I am working on a voice control for EVE Online

UPDATE:(I MADE A PROJECT JUST FOR A EVE ONLINE VOICE SYSTEM. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/eve-online-voice-control/x/401091 )

Believe it or not, there as been a lot of people asking for a voice control for EVE Online. Most people want the voice control to do basic things like "Fire all wep", "Call back all drones", etc. Some people want the system to do something more advance like mark xyz system on the map. Go to xyz system.

I've started on this, but it's basic things. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhSj6DsVPZo

I would like to get in advance features like go to xyz system, but I have to talk to the EVE DEV team since that's in the core files. The bad news is that wont happen if my project isn't funded. http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/396746
The reason for this is it would take way too much time to deal with for 1 unpaid person. Like I made my own "AI" system on my computer on my off time and it took me a good 2 years to do it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m9oO9Mo2fU
Most people want it now, and that's the only way it could happen.

Anyways, as far as the voice control system right now. The system uses what I call key stone actions. You must say a set of words for it to do it's action/s. For example:
1. You say "bring all the drones in"
2. The system tells the game to bring all the drones in the drone bay.
3. The system let's you know it understood the action by saying, "All the drones are going in your bay."

Or
1. You say "protect my ship"
2. it turns on your stuff (low med and/or high mods)
3. it says something to tell you what it did.

Because I'm not messing with the core files, I'm only messing with the key binding system. Basically when I say bla bla, it hits a key on my keyboard and says the action. However, I'm thinking about making it where it controls the mouse too. The only bad part about this is with dif size monitors and windows, it would have to be coded for each computer. (I'm not doing this. Also, if I can get into the core files then this will make it where I just need to make 1 code that fits all.)

Anyways, what do you think of what I made so far? Do you think you would use this?

Hell is around every turn. It's your choice to go in it or not. Please check out the Rookies in EVE video playlist. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLioOFeHwQV5yNk2vpz8wX9hihLVQEIKLt

This would be nice to have, but I'm not sure if it's against the EULA.

Edit: Man, you're asking for way too much money.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Its EVE, if its real its amazing! You get to see scams everywhere...

I know voice control is coming and we cannot avoid it. However I am afraid what this do to fleets. Virtually one person could control whole fleet and it could work in perfect harmony being on some parts more efficient than human fleet. Due to humans misinterprete commands / names.. Can't find the target you guide them for..

If such feature is coming to EVE it should be taken over by CCP to keep the gam in balance and what the other guy just said.. yes its probably against EULA.

It's not. It's basically a vocal keyboard at this time.

Anyways, the project is much more than just for a game. If it was just for a game I would say I need 90K +/-. The software I'm trying to make should help everyone during their day to day life.

BTW, if the funds don't come in then I might make another one for just games.

@theia

What you're talking about is 100% possible if I was to go against the EULA. Also, at this time the voice control in the game only works with whatever client you're using at the time.
(The only way I will make it where someone will run a fleet of ships is by EVE Online OK. I have to keep this stuff on EVE Online's good side so they don't kick people for using this.)
BTW I would love to work FOR them on something like this.

@Danika

How much do you think it cost to make an AI that helps everyone out during their day to day life? What do you think I need? Do you really think 1 person can make an AI in a very very short time (2 years or less)?

300k is needed for the following.
1. To hire a team. (Freelancers are not the way to go when you're talking about a project of such size. Also, freelancers aren't as secure as a hired team.)
2. To hire graphic and gui people. (They can be freelancers since that is a small part of this project.)
3. To rent an area out for the team to work. (If you're going to hire a FT team then they need a place to work)
4. To bring in computers and other things to make sure we have what we need to make this as quick as possible. (This also means getting things like phones, home items, etc to test this on. I want the system to tell you when your drink is done and when the dog is low on water.)
5. Testers. (Some testers are going to do this for free, but a few aren't)
6. PR (This is a must and this is a big amount of the money.)
7. Services and updates. (I want this product to grow even after it comes out. This means I need to make sure I have enough to add many more features years after it is released.)
8. Legal. (Yes, legal. I must make sure we are protected)

BTW It's on a Flexible Funding. But, if this project doesn't meet a good amount this I really can't do it. Like it really takes that much to do all of this.
