Hi Resolution Texture Pack - Show Your Support!!!

Yeah I support this

However

CCP if your worried about the 'lowest common denominator' gamers, which is not a bad thing by the way, then make the HD Texture Pack a separate download that doesn't use the EVE Launcher. Put the pack up on it's own Evelopedia page that covers it's installation, like how the test servers are done. This way the people who are savvy enough to know their systems can handle it will be able to use it while the rest of the players can go happily about their business and not get held up by the Launcher wanting to download however big a file it is.

35 pages late, but yes having even higher resolution textures an option within the game would make it very enjoyable.

I hope that CCP got the messeage when everyone in the room raised their hand when they asked if we would download high resolution textures if we had the option.

So yes, they already have the textures, it's craziness for them to not be available.

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

I have already signed this however I would like to show why I really want high resolution textures please. Some of us are "newer" to the game and my taking a few months real life break didn't help my training que... hahaha However until the day comes that I can actually be worth a hoot in PvP which I really don't care about at this point. Well, I do this... Explore, see what is around and actually LOOK at it. I scan down sites, and I really really hope with the new expansion based on exploration there will be even more to look at.

I think all that stuff needs to be redone. Look at the pic you have for Explore. What is that in the bottom left? A shuttle for a giant? What kind of ship did all that belong to? None of it makes any sense at all.

Even though my client wouldn't be able to withstand this, I fully support this as it would be a great tool for the ones that make videos of Eve such as Rooks and Kings.
