Think about this, for the 10th decade celebration every wallet in the game gets set to 1 billion ISK.

This would be more money than some have ever thought possible, and would be truely cause for celebration.

But Tom... wouldn't that break the market?

Well no, because a few hateful undeserving exploiting bastards have billions or even trillions of ISK piled up on spare toons, as a matter of fact 99% of all the ISK in EVE is controlled by 1% of it's population.

That doesn't seem fair, why would the 1% horde ISK like that?

Because they are evil savages.

So lets hear some support for making EVE a more fair place in the second decade one billion ISK in every wallet!

To the OP: you do realize that the rich players have most of their fortune in items, not sitting in their wallet. That suggestion would change surprisingly little.

You're wrong about that not breaking the market. Forget for a moment that the elite have quite a few solid assets, and look at the market itself.

Regardless of how much currency is in the game, only so much is flowing. I'm one of those with over 1b in my wallet, and I'd say only about 10% of even my liquid wealth ends up moving at a time. On the other hand, we have silly plebeians like you that will often empty their entire wallets in short order. If you all suddenly has 1 billion ISK to spend, too much liquid currency would be dumped on the market, and the value of ISK would plummet.

Also, who thinks that 1 billion is a lot of ISK?

Why stop at a billion? Ten billion!

Arrived, expecting suggestion that every single player should have their skillpoints reset to 10m SP. Leaving disappointed. But as sane as I arrived.
