Throwing in my support. I probably wouldn't be able to make use of them, but if the plan is to make them optional there is no sane reason not to do it, might even encourage a lot of people to upgrade their computers which I can only see as helping EVE in the end. Big smile

I'm all for this, as long as you can pick which high rez textures you want. I'm not too fussed about ships, but those background nebula, in high rez, yes please.

I'm only playing on medium detail atm to run two clients smoothly, but I expect to buy a new rig sometime this year, so would be nice to have super-shiny EVE ready by then :)
