So it's a waste of time to protect your ISK and your mates?

Okay, then.

You seem to confuse goonswarm with an alliance that cares about killboard stats.

Killboard? What is this killboard you speak of?

I think it's that thing we post our lossmails on to get our ships reimbursed

Oh, I like that thing. The more lossmails the merrier.

Sixth post in a row from a Goon. You guys are basically talking to yourselves -- and now you're begging for attention. Classy.

Delicious tears in this thread. My favorite are the smoky mesquite flavored "I don't care so much that I posted in this thread about how much I don't care" tears.

Yeah, like I said, the decbear alliances are literally more risk-averse than incursion bears. Trying to fight a bunch of station-hugging scrubs to protect a bunch of idiots who fly into hisec with in-alliance characters (everything that matters is done with neutral alts, fyi) is a waste of our time.

Please don't opine on anything that doesn't concern whatever single part of the game you've focused all of your attention on in years of playing (mining, perhaps?)

You're afraid to do "anything that matters" with your main characters? You need even more anonymity? Fascinating. You'd make an excellent case study. For what, I don't know. Something, though.

You'd have to dig pretty deep to come up with some rationale for calling anything in this thread "tears."

Also, it's already been pointed out, quite aply, that just posting in a thread does not constitute "caring."

For example, I'm replying to you, but I have no attachment to you at all. You're a completely anonymous individual, to whom I've never had any previous interaction with. How could I possibly care about your opinion? You are basically a handful of text to me at this point.

I do find amusement though in your belief that I care, and that this constitutes tears.

Does amusement equal caring? This is something I will need to ponder.

nothing of importance is hauled to hisec with an in-alliance character, the only ones who do that are idiots

but hey keep trying to be clever, you'll still be wrong ))

Very true, but how cool would it be to take down their "flagship system" so to speak, and stop them ganking there... Watch the mittani blog about that ;)

Please do come to vfk, bring friends too.

Seriously this. Bombers Bar and Brave Newbies put a fleet together and traveled to VFK for a fight fairly recently and everyone had a great time. We lasted about 1 minute and 20 seconds but the explosions were awesome.

Now you probibly won't stop Burn Jita... lol. But VFK is more fun than this message board.

Good luck withstanding these withering troll attacks, Goons.

You edited your post to take out the part where you said you used freighter alts. Odd that you felt the need to change it.

Yeah, I can read. And I read the post before your ninja edit also. :)

I use freighter alts all the time, because I'm not dumb.

So much whinning.

Burn Jita is an player event, like a pirate blockade or something.

You can rage at the forums or do something in game against the "bad people".

I bet that taking action in game is more fun than any e-pen war on a forum arguing about semantics and misterious edits in a post.

Anyway, have fun and dont let a videogame thats real get too real.

I fail to see the significance, but then again people who ~blatantly don't care~ certainly never interpret the smallest detail as an important piece in some giant conspiracy.

In my profound ignorance I feel burn Jita is primarily a cultural event. It also has to do with the demands of leadership.

Consider the proposition that we cannot control or thoughts, feelings or physical existence in anyway near the manner we imagine. This can easily be self tested by attempting to stop thinking for even a few moments. Attmeot to go a day without rationalization. If true, where do we the have volitional freedom? We can direct our attention, which in turn effects thought, affect and somatic reality, though not in a mechanistic way. When done actively this is in part what is meant by paradigm shift.

What this implies is that the primary responsibility of a leader is the management of attention. Consider the case where an organization has come up with some brilliant strategy or vision. How long between the creation of that and the moment when it is fully displaced in the attention and so action of the organization by the pressing demands of operational realities associated with the current condition. Usually this is a matter of days, if not hours.

A CEO must manage the attention, or have means to do so, both internally and externally. Burn Jita accomplishes this for the Goons. It gives goon pilots something to do and builds organizational unity, provides internal reward and positive feedback? It turns the attention of the community toward the presence of goons, as this thread, live feeds, active participation, etc. all demonstrate. Even actively noticing and then ignoring it is deemed a success. Lack of awareness all together is not.

I believe the rhetorical statement of intent is something to the effect of 'we will remind them who the f*** we are."

Private sig. Do not read.

I know you're used to people thinking a lot of conspiracies about your group, but I'm not one of them. For what it's worth, I'm just having a bit of fun with you guys. You're the ones who keep this going. I had stopped a page or two back, but after six posts, I just felt compelled to respond.

I honestly don't care about Jita Burn, not in a bad way. I find it interesting, but less entertaining than it could be. Personally, I think you should be less selective about your targets and really have some fun. If you're there to "Burn Jita" then you should do so. Right now, you're just "Ganking Freighters in Jita." <3

Considering what he changed it to is just a different way of saying he uses freighter alts, the verdict is pretty clear: you can't read proficiently.
