Let me get this going again...

So there I was sitting on a gate with a Corp mate waiting for a WT. But local seems busy about somebody talking about spending all his isk buying a Bhaalgorn. Can't help but think that is something I would really like on my Killbaord one day.

And then this:

Victim in Local: Anybody need repairs? i have armor and shields drones.

My head starts turning and I convo the nearest guy on the gate in a bantam, offering him 10mil if he takes my can and allow me to shoot his ship until half armor. He agrees so i shoot his ship and ask him to ask the Victim for repairs.

They meet at the first belt and the Victim proceeds to Repair his armor using drones... ofcourse the Bhaalgorn goes red, pleas of mercy ensues in local as the Bhaalgorn blows up.

Apperantly I made a big mistake and will pay dearly for what I have done.

Ok, ill write something here while my locator agent cools down Blink

Recently we found some new victims. These guys turned out to be what i like to call loudmouths. You know the type if you ever have run a wardeccing corp. Its the guys that sends mails about how i am going to regret it and, i quote: "Are you sure you wanna ride this train?" (Yes baby i wanna ride your train, show me your big choo choo)

It turns out that these guys have earlier been in 0.0 and they have taken the 0.0 "we are elite" attitude with them back to empire where they decided to start a mining corp of all things.

First day of the war we killed a manticore, and i exchanged this Cyclone with this Harbinger .

Its worth noticing that we kind of walked into a trap there, but we tried to ninja the rattlesnake so it was a calculated risk.

1 day went by without much happening. I was even taking a trip to syndicate without finding anyone to pew pew.

Then, dark spotted them moving a Orca to Jita. Escorted by a hurricane and a drake. We decided that this was a chance we couldnt let go. We decided to wait for them with a Tempest and a Maelstrom. The plan was, that the drake and hurricane would warp faster than the Orca, so if we timed it right, we could jump in to their system, warp to the Orca while the escorts had allready warped away.

Good plan yeah?

Well it worked wonderful. The bigmouths did exactly as expected. We landed when the drake and Hurricane warped. The Orca was tackled and then it died just as his escort came back to save it.

Within the next 15 minutes we also killed a drake and the same scorpion twice.

It actually confused us. They were runing around like headless chickens. The word turkeyshoot came to mind.

After a while, their new alliance came to their rescue. I was camped by 14 people in t3's and all kind of shineys. Ofcourse, after the deadly silence in local while we were killing their Orca, they now started their talking again. Why dont i come out and play..

You declare war corporations where the majority of weakly pumped players. In systems with low security levels such as 04 03 02 01 00 fly you terribly. On the good players you are afraid to attack. And proud of you nothing. Unforgettable that these weaker players sooner or later become strong and naturally you will want revenge. And such kilami I would not be proud of.

Been an interesting couple of days.

Got 3 wars running, Targets seems to be working together, so they managed to pop 2 of my new players T3 cruisers one at a time as they landed. We just landed a few seconds later as the second T3 popped.

A valuable lesson indeed for them and one they richly deserved, I laughed, they did not think it was funny.

So we start going to work on them... without their much older players 3 of us take on a fleet of 8 which is reduced to 4 as the rest run to dock up and jump out. My harby was tanking all their damage.. did not even need to start flashing the RR

So after all that... (and a couple of hit and runs from me) this starts:

Ofcourse being my colorfull self i never treated emails like these to serious or pay them much attention. So I basicly told them, after that mail I will now end the war when I feel like it. And to be honest.. who really wants to end wars anyway? or Maybe when they pay you to end it.

He's going to post on the forums... I don't know what im going to do. The forums are like the end all of everything... IM DOOMED.

He promtly responded that he will be making his own Corp to come after me. Something tells me i'm doing something right.

I remember a while back, i was running around canflipping people and flipped a can of ice but didnt get any bites so i switch out to my legion to go find some war targets,but first i warp to the belt to shoot the can so they cant take their ice back after i leave system..... and then the orca SHOT my legion (with drones) well i merrily proceeded to shoot at him, tragically i was covert fit, and had little DPS so he self destructed, so no killmail

So last night I started back enroute to my 'true' career in Eve and engaged in my first act of piracy in probably 4 years (1st ever on this character)!

Having a bored moment I hopped in my Ishkur and moved into 0.1 lowsec for a quick nosey around.
Local is just 1 pilot (other than me) and as there is a station in system I didn't expect to see anyone in space, but on the off chance I warped to the top belt and low and behold there was a Navy Hookbil engaging a handful of NPCs!
Result! I thought, heart pounding, as I charged towards him on full afterburner, locking and pointing him as quickly as possible and settling into a tight orbit around my prey i proceeded to tear away at him, downing his sheilds and armour with ease, pausing only to collect the ransom for his faction frigate and get a nice boost to my loot stash...

At least that's how it happened in my head...

It actually took me around ten seconds to lock/point my target as when I landed on target I was on the wrong overview settings, I somehow didn't turn on my AB until half way through the fight, my drones engaged one of the NPCs rather than the Hookbill, and to top it all my connection dropped just as I got him to half armour and ready to ransom!
By the time i logged back in and warped back to the belt, the Hookbill (and my drones annoyingly) was in pieces spread across the top belt, the pod was gone and i was alone in system.

The loot was maybe worth 2m Isk at best, my lost drones total about 2.5m i guess so overall i'm down on the engagement but it confirmed two things to me...

1) I am so so SO out of practice at PVP at the moment!
2) Pirate is definately the career for me!



tl:dr returning pirate makes a real mess of 1st engagement but still gets the kill (and doesn't die to NPCs in the process) Lol


If you can't fly safe, fly pretty..

So there is a certain character who likes to call himself the defender of noobs. Many of you may know of him. There is a youtube video regarding an incident that sent him to low sec for months. Well this character likes to spam local with all of the "jerks" who are present and offers money for corpses of those he particularly hates for one reason or another.

A week or so ago I was deemed "reformed" and told I should acquire a certain corpse of a friend who this individual realllllly hated. I waited until today, randomly letting him know my scheme was getting fruitful. I then made an alt with a very similar name to said target and acquired a corpse. I traded it over and received 100mil for very little effort.

Several hours later, I log on to this:

Victim > I no longer buy corpses, there are too many fakes
Local person > why
Victim > because jerkwads have tried to sell me counterfiet corpses

I immediately get a private convo:

Victim > I knew that corpse was fake
Victim > you will now be on my kill list

So I was playing around in a Rifter, kinda bored, and hoping to lose it in some good natured 1v1; I dropped a can outside a station and waited. It wasn't long before someone came along in a Merlin and locked me, took the stuff, and immediately started shooting. I was armor tanked, he was shield tanked - he just got through my tank as I got through his, and his armor started dropping as fast as my hull was going, but *pop* I go.

I dock, decide what the hell, change my tank a little bit and go out in another Rifter where the player is still sitting outside station. He sees me and immediately starts shooting. We get to about the same point, where I'm about through my tank and he is about through his, when suddenly, my armor is back at 100%! WTF?!?

I hadn't been paying attention, but suddenly in local a couple of players in BS's decide that they wanted to make the fight last longer. We spun around and around shooting, but just before we'd die someone would rep us, it was pretty comical. Everyone was targeting us to watch the show, it was a good time in local. Finally, they decide to stop repping - they gave us both full armor and stopped.

You'll remember that I was armor tanked, so I won the engagement at the end; the other player was NOT happy about that. He lost a fully T2 fit Merlin, and the only thing that dropped was some ammo and Damage Control II. Following are some of the funnier parts from Local:

The Tengu that got away

Solo camping in Egglehend on the Jel gate in my oversebo'd Myrmidon, cloaky alt on the highsec side of of the gate sees a velator and tengu land on the gate at the same time. Velator jumps through and just sits there in Egg (I can see him on directional at the gate from a pounce). I don't bother with the veletor because I'm interested in that Tengu. 3-4 minutes pass, no activity on either side. I'm thinking this +5.0 sec status bear in his tengu used a brand-new alt made just that day to jump into low sec and scout out the way to make sure it's clear.

Minutes later that tengu actually jumps, and I'm in warp to meet him on the gate. Sebo'd myrm points him immediately and the fight is on, me with prior GCC already had a bit of shield damage (15%) and him sitting at 16km soaking up my hammerhead IIs and 425mms with republic EMP.

His shield hits 50% and I'm getting a chubby TBH, this is going better than I expected - he's redboxed me and the combination of his heavy missile precision whatevers and the gate guns are chewing through my plated tripple rig armor buffer. i've started losing drones, and I'm now regularly deploying replacement Warrior IIs to make up for the missing Hammerhead IIs.

His shield gone, 3/4 armor, i'm down to 1/4 armor and started deploying ECM drones to distract those ******* sentry guns and keep his damage off me if at all possible. Surprisingly we're probably 1 minute into this fight and none of the douchebags in local have landed on the gate either. I've started aligning to a planet in case this goes south, but his armor is dropping faster than my armor, i just don't know how it will play out.

Well, the last of my armor disappears and i'm in 95% hull, he's below 1/2 armor and I'm down to the last few ECM drones and the sentries are back on me more than the drones... I end up warping off with 1/2 hull, he's below 1/2 armor - I just didn't have enough buffer time to chew all the way through his tank.

I assume he was PVE fit, i saw target painter, but no point on me or he would have gottem my kill from him + gates. either way, I enjoyed the rush, i tried to chat in local but he was silent, so no obnoxious bear-comments from one that got away.

Lesson learned:
1) don't bother with noob ships, they may lead to juicy pinatas
2) bring a 2nd ship!!! (how fast could I have logged on an alt for more damage? - should have tried)
3) micro manage gun overheating - i started overheating and stopped 3/4 of the way through his shields to save my guns, but as soon as he was in armor I should have put the heat back on - he may have gone down faster that way, and if it had been closer I would have used the last bit of my hull for the final shots to end him.

Sitting in Soba, I got into my Bestower to pickup all the junk people leave behind in the belts.

I pop a can in the first belt, and move a hulks contents that he discarded into a can into mine for later pickup. I notice another can nearby of a Kind and Gentle Dramiel pilot as well. So I move his thing over to my can as well.

Apperantly he did not take kindly to me keeping the system clean. And started shooting at me. How Rude is what I would say.

So there I am in my Bestower being shot at by this pesky fly. I target him... engage my neuts, scram and web, reppers and that stops the Dramiel pilot dead in his tracks. He cannot move quick enough to get away from my Bestower who I am tanking without much trouble.

I start shooting at him with my Medium Pulse Lasors. He is going down quickly, I call on coms for a corp mate who would like to share this glorious kill. Sharing is good, it makes people happy.

tl;dr - Sold a single empty giant secure container to a single victim. Got him to pay for it twice.

Was selling an empty container via contract for 49.5m purporting to contain ships. Received the following Evemails from an 06 player:
