Bribes & Donations to Raise Standing

This all started because I acted out AGAINST the Syndicate in a Level 1 mission & damaged my standings with them. I was new to EVE & didn't quite grasp the complexity of the game yet... So now I want to repair my standings with them, but I can't perform missions for them without pissing off Concord, I hear.

So the idea I had for EVE was WHAT IF I COULD GIVE MONEY TO A FACTION/CORP/PLAYER IN ORDER TO RAISE MY STANDINGS WITH THEM ?

It happens in the real world, lets make it happen in EVE.

1) pay anyone 1b and im sure they can raise their standings towards you
2) in many games, it is possible to bribe the authorities of the people you have been murdering, the problem is all these mechanics are unballenced, as you can not, in a game like eve, expect to pay only 900k for the equivilant standing loss for destroying a battleship, for example.
3) asside from the standing reapir #2, if you could "bribe agents to give you missions", what would be the point in missions in the first place below lvl 4/5?

not slating your idea, just showing some problems with its implimentation.

Whilst I would personally love to be able to pay an npc corp isk to raise my standing with them I don't think it would be a good thing for the game as a whole. It would remove some of the consequences for shooting specific faction/corp npcs.

What would be a lot better is if the new player missions were to really drum the fact that this happens into players heads and explains better how to work out what standings you're changing with which actions. This would remove players' ability to complain about unexpected or unwanted standing losses (something I've complained about myself) without changing the consequence system.

Edit: Also, your use of caps isn't really necessary. If you want to stress a point you have access to bold or italic formatting options.

absolutely agree.

While it's not that hard to push standing or repair standing (just repetetive and time consuming), it should be pointed out better in the first place. I even got myself <0 with all 4 main factions, before i knew what is going on.

I could consider bribing single agents to get their missions immediately (I don't remember how it works with agent and corp standings). However, corp standings have too much of an impact and would move Eve towards a pay 2 win model.
