PODLA drake is a nanoed version meant for heavy duty kiting (in the pre Tier 3 BC age). A soon-to-be colleague of yours has a fit.

Some will be used more than others; like that drake for instance (as mentioned above, 8 launchers seems a bit much), the Brutix and Harb I'm not so sure about.

I have the strange feeling that CCP is missing the consistency in this Navy Battlecruisers. There should be Prophecy, Brutix, Ferox and Cyclone as faction variants. That would correlate with the NPC Faction Ships in Missions/Anomalies/Sites/Belts/where ever else. I've never seen a Navy Drake in any NPC fleet...

And while I'm at the critics, it's really lame to take the old Hurricane and implement it as the new Navy variant, really innovative... At least you did a better job with the other 3 Battlecruisers Roll

I am a bit confused here:

Scythe Fleet Issue: this is our attempt to redeem the old Minmatar tradition of split weapon systems. Instead of forcing two separate weapon types this ship has a choice between two equally valid weapon options. It has been changed to have 5 launchers and 5 turrets, with a 10% bonus to medium projectile turret rate of fire and 10% bonus to missile damage per level. Since these bonuses have twice the strength of the bonuses the ship would receive normally, it effectively has four weapon bonuses, two of which can be used at a time. This will allow the Fleet Scythe to have an exceptional element of surprise as opponents will never know what to expect until they see the ship arrive on the field of battle.

Mentions 5 Launchers or 5 Turrets yet in this other forum says diferent.

Scythe Fleet Issue: This is my attempt to redeem the Minmatar split weapons tradition. Instead of forcing both weapon systems it gives both as viable choices.
Cruiser skill bonuses:
10% bonus to Medium Projectile Turret rate of fire
10% bonus to Missile damage
Slot layout: 5(-1) H, 5(+1) M, 5(+2) L, 4(+1) Turrets, 4(+1) Launchers
Fittings: 745 PWG, 400(+125) CPU
Defense (shields / armor / hull) : 2400(+1000) / 1950(+910) / 1950(+730)
Shield Recharge Time: 1250s(-100)
Capacitor (amount / recharge rate / average cap per second): 1275(+213) / 425s(+43.75) / 3(+0.2)
Mobility (max velocity / agility / mass / align time): 280(+10) / 0.44 / 10910000 / 6.65s
Drones (bandwidth / bay): 25 / 25
Targeting (max targeting range / Scan Resolution / Max Locked targets): 50km(+12.5) / 345 / 7

We went with the ships we considered to be the most "iconic" BCs for each race. There was lots of internal debate about Brutix vs Myrm but Brutix won out.


Wha?!? How is that even a contest :( The myrm is -clearly- the most iconic battlecruiser in the Gallente line up. I'm not angry though CCP, just dissapinted in all of you :(

1. Nutrix looks better.
2. Nutrix sounds better.
3. CCP will redesign the Myrim hull to be non-vertical eventually. So navy version doesnt make sense at this time.

Also i would like to point out that this is a lie.

Its actually 3 bonuses a Double bonus to turrets and a single bonus to Launchers because THIS is not a double bonus:

10% bonus to missile damage per level.

That bonus with 4 launchers its not a viable missile boat.

Is there a mistake with the LP store prices?
It says the FW one is 125k LP + 10m while the regular store is 250k LP + 100m
