Hey all, I'm packing up and moving out to null and need a few hulls for armor cruiser fleets. I'll use the SFI for solo work, but what would you recommend for an armor buffer b/w the stabber and rupture? why?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Rupture simply because the Stabbers tank and dps is anemic right now, it is getting a boost to its falloff range a 25m3 dronebay in the next patch though. However the Rupture is still probably easier to fit.

Edit:
Also don't discount the Bellicose, it can be reasonably fit with armor and that leaves lots of mids for bonused tps and other support ewar, also you can fit bonused rapid light launchers which are arguably the best anti-frig weaponry, very useful for fleets rather than a vanilla tank and gank ship. Also has a large dronebay for more utility.

This guy is right. The rupture is very easy to fit and more forgiving than the stabber. The stabber is ok tho so don't be put off. I personally love the bellicose too.
Best thing to do is get all 3 and find out which one suits your piloting style..

Eww, Bellicose...P

But yeah, Ruppy is the way to go. Btw, is this one of these noob cruiser blobs? If so crosstraining may be worthwhile - some boats tend to get shot first. Get yourself a nice fat Maller, get on kms, pretend you did stuff and watch other ppl get shot.Big smile

Are you kidding me??

With the number of these noob cruiser fleets packing a couple of T1 logis to keep them up, go for top damage or go home. Say you die in a fire you're down what, a cruiser? You'll live.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.
