Any t2 salvage outside of player-made ships?

I've gotten some t2 salvage as a result of player actions on other players, but noticed that during missions, even when confronted with items that have powers far beyond the norm (such as Spider Drone II), that they don't yield any t2 salvage. Are there any mission items that do? Also, are there any exploration items that yield t2 salvage? I've done some and hadn't seen it yet, but didn't know if that was just based on lack of skill.

Faction wrecks may give T2 salvage (eg Shadow Serpentis, Dark Blood, True Sansha, etc), Mag sites, lowsec and nullsec mostly, may as well.

Commander NPC wrecks are better still. These are the mobs that drop deadspace modules, not the faction ones.

You will find these in exploration DED complexes and escalations of anomolies.

Still the t2 salvage from these sites is a small bonus - the bounties and the deadspace modules are the main rewards. (This includes both deadspace modules found on the final commander, and also deadspace modules found on player wrecks when you catch up to the person that started the site and got 85% of the way through it before you arrived).

About all of my t2 salvage I got from mag sites personally, and allot of it. But in the end it's the luck of the draw :'(

Hi there:

Going to be honest here...none of the faction wrecks drop much. CCP nerfed the **** out of these wrecks
many patches ago. And don't get your hopes up on mag sites either. I've done 10 in the the last couple days
and got one micro circuit.

I'm a full-time T2 rig builder. I source the mats from the market or the occassional player wreck. I USED to
blow up T2 ships jetted from an Orca and salvage them.....which was nice with the player wreck buff...but
with the big increases in T2 ship prices, this is no longer economic.

You COULD do low-or-null sec mags if you are adventurous, or hang out on hub undocks or watch
Eve-Kill for player kills. But if you are trying to bring product to market quickly, you'll default to market
every time.

If you're into this market segment...drop me a line..we might be able to work together.

I've had a few rats in high sec COSMOS systems salvage into T2 salvage, but it's only happened a couple times. It's always a boss-type rat with a decent tag and/or drop. And yes, I mean belt rat, not plex NPC.

Confirming this.

My corp had a pile of T2 salvage from Sleepers & sites, as we didn't have much use for it. When I checked the value of the pile, it was about 4 billion Shocked

Yes, this is true. However, Sleepers only drop T2 circuits (micro, logic, and power). While power circuits
are pretty pricey, Sleepers don't drop the uber-good stuff needed for the truly important rigs, like
cap consoles, EWCs, and intact plates.
