Blackstar Privateer Consortium was formed 2 years ago with the intention of being a co-operative organisation that is driven by the aspirations of the members, allowing them to get the most out of their environment as possible. Right now, that environment is wormhole space in both C5 and C3 systems. We are always looking for like-minded players to join us and be part of a corporation that seeks to continue expanding in size and scope.

We are predominantly an EU timezone corporation with a strong core of UK players along with some US membership and are looking for pilots with experience and those without but willing to learn, regardless of whether your focus is PvP, PvE, Mining or Industry, we're more than happy to show you the ropes:

What we do:

PvE – This is the foundation of everything else that we do. Whether running anomalies in our own or someone else’s WH or exploring low or nullsec, we won’t pretend PvE doesn’t happen even if we do prefer shooting other players.
PvP – If your idea of PvP is being part of an overwhelming blob of covert ops T3’s, we’re not the corporation for you. We prefer a challenge and try to fly as outnumbered and outclassed as possible. Our PvP pilots are required to fly both armour and shields depending on what the situation calls for. With the right fleet composition, outnumbered and outclassed does not necessarily mean outgunned.
Industry – We manufacture T3 hulls and subsystems, Orcas and other Capital ships and combat boosters. The corporation subsidises these for members who wish to buy them.
Mining – For obvious reasons, this is strongly aligned with the corporation industrial operations as well as personal projects for those wishing to exploit the availability of exotic ores.

Applicants should:

Have at least 10 million SP
Be able to a shield tanked ship for ratting, preferably but not essentially a Tengu for ratting/raiding lower class sites. Carrier/Dreadnaught capability or working towards capability is a bonus.
Be able to field both shield or armour tanked ships for PvP. Recon and Logistics capability are a bonus.
Pilot a covert ops scanner with reasonable competence
Be willing to provide a full API key
Ideally be able to assist with PI fuel production or gas harvesting or train towards this.
Have and be able to use Teamspeak
Have a strong tolerance for bad jokes.
