You ever seen Paul, Random?

Watching that vid made me open it up to the bit where Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reenact the scene and then cry "Ahhh people"

hey i think this is the right place and people to announce this:

I got myself diagnosed with ADHD last week, and Monday was my first day on Adderall...

you'll notice a marked improvement in my attitude, I think.

Here in Denmark they give that diagnosis to all kids whose parrents haven't done a proper job raising them.

But for someone at your age who get it, there must be something true about it. I just honestly didn't expect you to have it. But then again, it's not really possible to diagnose someone across the internet. I wish the best for you mate.

how would i describe it...

i find myself thinking "ok, i'm not active this very second, what might be more productive?" then I do it

my urges are gone... hunger included... apparently the receptors in my brain are satisfied, so I seek nothing--want nothing

i'm like, this complete person now. one of those happy-for-no-reason people.

list of things I'm no longer affected by:

frustration
anxiety
anger
moodiness
"not being a morning person"
nicotine
food
malaise
scatterbrained-ness
PROCRASTINATION

it used to be that genetic predispositions limited people's futures, socioeconomically... but I feel...

limitless

truth be told, I am looking around at the things I did as a manic person, including these five screens, each dedicated to one of my rains--it's all evidence of just how out of control I was.

the bad news is, I don't have the desire to go balls deep with five clients side by side

...........so i've decided to stay off the meds on the weekends, so the manic rains can come out. there are some things the "other" me did right, and I would like them to continue :-D (will net me a surplus of three days' worth of prescription, per week. cuz sometimes you just need a bump).... !!!!!

DRINKS! (though I quit alcohol nearly two years ago)

the wood desk setup used a frame... all build by me, from my head

not something I would ever consider while on this medication. but he had some awesome ideas and habits, so I'm glad I have this "switch" to go between dr jekyll and mr hyde

How've you affixed the monitors to that back bar? Using some kind of plastic tags like they use for packing crates or something?

Doesnt it seem odd having the monitors portrait instead of landscape? How do you manage to fit the UI in?

I'm just wondering as I have diabolical plans for when I move in May and I want my office looking fab. And since I'll be boss I can play eve at work.... maybe! Big smile

Was going to recommend a Quafe shirt removal party until the fair Indah made her comment that got me all flustered.

Then Rain and 5 monitors......

Wow, mental barrage day...

*points to the jug that Gray is drinking from*

I'll have one of those, please.
