I went off Lucozade when i was in secondary school. Used to drink it after rugby games but my god after a while the stickiness got too much. Plus I sometimes forgot to take out my gum guard.... that didnt end well.

Well, my dear, a very good friend of mine received a job offer in the far off system of San Diego. Whilst saying our final goodbye's to him before he moved away, his back up pilot decided to bail on him. I was offered as an alternative. So on Wednesday last, my friend and I left our home system of St. Paul and began the whirlwind adventure that was ROAD TRIP.

We covered many light years. I enjoyed the warm ocean reprieve over our home's subfreezing temps.

Alas, I was required to return if not for just business, but to continue the warmth and patronage of the TGFB.

However, being able to wear shorts and a t-shirt and not feel subarctic discomfort. Tough to walk away from.

Sadly, one of best friends now lives halfway across the galaxy.

Another round for the house, please.

A guy i work with is from Oklahoma. I told him your route of "go south and turn right at Oklahoma" he thought about it for a moment and replied. "Yep.. sounds right"

Thats almost exactly how it works!

We did make a slight detour in Kansas. I met up with one of my podcasting counterparts (Kyle Yanowski). We had a very nice dinner while waiting for rush hour traffic to die in KC.
