Here, the video itself

Albeit the in-space bits are CGI, can someone tell wether the DUST sequences are ingame or CGI? Specially the beginning, with the dust bunny meeting others? Question

The down on the planet gameplay is in-game footage for sure.
Here is a video of the DUST 514 Pre-game lobby, it looks similar enough to the bit you saw at the start of the video, maybe just on lower graphics settings.

I'm happy to say all the dust sequences were made using in game footage. Everything you saw involving dust actually happens in dust.

So the DUST bunnies can have their friends over to the meeting room to party. But I cant leave or have any of my EVE friends over to my CQ. Hell I cant even party with my exotic dancers. Sad

Cus WIS is not what Eve players want... aparently...

One thing about that video however is the Gallente using a Cormorant Shocked

i just wonder why that titan had no tank fitted, quite disappointing seeing the few ships shooting at it, would have expected like a fleet of 25 moros' and 100 bs' to knock at it

In my experience, that scene which is the lobby for games lasts at best 1 minute before you start the game.

Although it would be nice for us to have it... or something better. Blink

Just to add that although I didn't get to work on this particular video, I can tell you that both the DUST and EVE footage were recorded ingame, apart from the space shot @2:20 of the falling burning Titan, which was pre-rendered.

The DUST footage looks better than what we have at the moment because it's of the new build coming in May with enhanced graphics, assets and such.

But, wasn't TiDi kicking in during the event? Or was it recorded on a separate server? Question

Separate recording. If it has been the actual event, you would see hundreds of smaller ships crowding around the Titan as well as quite a few more capital ships shooting/repping the Titan.

I thought it was too clean and empty to be the actual event and so I figured it was not ingame footage but CGI... but also could have been recorded outside of TQ.

Amazing graphics, amazing content.

ALOT of which should have been in EVE in the first place, not some "spinoff" series.

Congrats to CCP for making a great game for Playstation enthusiasts...it's very cool and the few times I've seen it played on a console, it's beautiful and in keeping with the tradition of CCP's craftsmanship.

HOWEVER, it's time to man-up and bring EVE's WIS environment up to par.

The most rednered part is the moving dead hulk of the titan, everything could have been done ingame included the post crash back ground that dust 514 guys where treated to on Caldari prime.

Dust 514's CPM 1 Iron Wolf Saber Eve mail me about Dust 514 issues.

You didn't hear all the complaining during Incarna? All that great stuff was shelved to satisfy all the "EMERGEEERD EVE IS ABOUT SPACE SHIPS" crowd...

You're a hater.
Not only are you ignoring 99% of why the situation was a disaster,
there never was any great stuff in the first place.

Also: The SpaceShipsCrowd won.

Can I ask why there's a cormorant on the gallente side?

Is the cormorant on the Gallente side, or the Caldari side?

Also how did he to a orbital strike on Caldari Prime? I thought those could only be done on planets in FW systems.

Actually I'm not. I never opposed the current expansions or new content. So don't be so quick to judge and nor in my post did I ever say that either.

You failed to realise that there were SEVERAL teams working on content for EVE. One of which was Incarna. They actually had prototypes for extra-vehicular game play revolving around salvage operations in space.

And if we're going to talk facts, keep in mind these content editions were still ongoing until the last year, long after the outcry. So no-one "won". They simply re-prioritised for now. So it was quite possible for them to work on revising current content in addition to bringing new totally new game play features. Which is also something they WILL revisit in the future.
