Flying an Armageddon

Hello all.
My goal: tech out of an Oracle into a Armageddon.
Purpose: POS killing in small fleets/small fleet pvp
Help: Not sure if this is a step in right direction.

I have all the skills for getting into an Armageddon. Still getting large pulse/beam lasers to Lvl 5 though. I have all support gunnery skills maxed. This being said, i am not sure if there are other things i should be training. I am in no means in a rush to get into a BS, but that is my next step, and was wondering what people would recommend, or if even that is the right step. In addition i am not sure if i should get thermo dynamics to 5 prior to getting in a BS.

For pos bashing in a geddon you will want sentry drone interfacing, preferably to 5 for tech 2. Support skills for them too, especially drone sharpshooting.

Sounds like you probably already have your basic support skills pretty much maxed out or close right? (cap, fitting, etc...)

Thermodynamics is nice, but I wouldn't make 5 a priority.

Thanks. I did not think to max drone interfacing, since i was focusing on level 5 pulse laser. ♥

*Sentry* drone interfacing to be clear... but regular drone interfacing is really good too. Smile

Shooting the pos itself requires sentries if the force field is up, and the dps is great!

Geddon has a little problem with POS bashes, because it caps out. Remote Reps fix that, and as mentioned, Sentries can keep shooting.

Geddon is a nice ship, great DPS, great tank, and a Navy version that rocks.
I personally like Heavy Drones for everything else but structures. The point is, Geddon has a nice drone bay for either.

Flying a BS effectively requires excellent support skills ie; Capacitor, Navigation, Defense and Gunnery are ones that should really be maxed out to get the best out them. You should be fine with Thermo IV until you reach a point where you have all the important skills trained then get it to V if you overheat often.
