I, too, as a Gallente pilot, can rest easy knowing my lack of action made absolutely no difference in the outcome of this scripted non-sandbox event.

A professional astro-bastard was not available so they sent me.

Just because the titan is scripted to be destroyed, does NOT mean the "winner" of the battle is scripted.. It does NOT mean that the ownership of Caldari Prime is scripted...

Sure, some things get scripted... so what... that doesnt' mean you can't influence the storyline...

Games like mass effect have scripted events.... but you can still influence the ending... and that's what matters...

Mayber CCP are cleaning up stuff thats sitting ingame thats long since past its sell by date.

No doubt we'll see at least two perma damaged stations getting repaired in the next few months.

Funny though; nobody complained about events being scripted when they happened during downtime with no player input at all. Military experts are calling this a whine thread.

Well, the "Event" isn't over, only the Titan loss (which we all knew was going to happen). The relevant part of the event is still being fought out on the ground in DUST. The Caldari may have lost a single Titan in orbit, but that hardly means they are going to necessarily lose the planet. In fact, it's a pretty even fight at the moment.
