A small thing that is incredibly frustrating

When you disconnect, don't make the entire client restart, as well as kicking you from fleet. Let us sit in fleet for like 5 mins in an "offline" state, it's so incredibly annoying to have to type in local or convo someone "please reinv to fleet"!

I want to punch kittens every time it happens in an incursion fleet. Think of the kittens!

Simple suggestion that improves the gameplay experience. Nice idead imo.

Good idea, as long as you can't be suicide ganked while DC'd. But along with the DC flag, there are a few other flags that could go up, such as the afk flag, a "do not disturb" and maybe a few others would prove useful. Now that a think about it, as a game that's main function is as a chat client, it really lacks a lot of chat client features.

I'm not whining, this is something incredibly frustrating I could easily see having caused people to quit the game. I'm not asking for much to be changed, other than adding an offline tag - you'd still do the exact same thing you do now while offline or d/c'd, just would stay in fleet for a few minutes.

Connection timeout is not the same thing as hitting the quit button. And I meant quit as in stop subscribing to the game because of UI problems. There's a whole lot of other things that could get fixed, I picked one to have a qualm with today :P

No but to ccp a task termination, unplugged network cables, dropped wifi, router reset or fault in any of the routers between you and ccp servers - all look the same.

You cant have your 5 minutes fake online and seamless reconnect because it would be open to abuse from misison spamming npc fail players in high sec when they civvy shield booster cnr from ebay dies to a lvl 3.

Okay, all it would mean is that someone doesn't have to reinvite you to fleet, since you would react in exactly the same way as if you had disconnected

I'm not sure how it's open to abuse. Why would leaving your name in a chat channel with a flag on it affect anything other than that chat channel?
