Not that I know of.

Is it a problem?

Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling.

It was way more obnoxious when this forum took over the old forum.
I learned to live with it, could be worse.

Yes, but it's not pretty.

You have to block all the google API/jquery files, and then inject a script to rewrite all the outgoing links to their original state.

The problem is that doing so kills a lot of the fancy forum features (search, roll-overs, drop-downs etc) since they also rely on jquery to work.

Pretty much this. It's kind of like the annoying accept/deny box in Windows Vista. After a while you don't even realize it's there anymore.

De'Veldrin's Corollary (to Malcanis' Law): Any idea that seeks to limit the ability of a large nullsec bloc to do something in the name of allowing more small groups into sov null will inevitably make it that much harder for small groups to enter sov null.

There was a Greasemonkey script that I tried that supposedly did it, but it ended up breaking links entirely so I disabled it.

No, you really won't. Smile

Measures like this may seem silly now, but they were implimented when this board was being bombarded constantly with links leading to all sorts of malicious web sites.

It's a necessary evil because, despite self assured jokes to the contrary, most people ARE too stupid to use good judgement about the links they click on game message boards. Blink

I would also like the option to turn this off.

The very sun of heaven seemed distorted when viewed through the polarising miasma welling out from this sea-soaked perversion, and twisted menace and suspense lurked leeringly in those crazily elusive angles of carven rock where a second glance shewed concavity after the first shewed convexity.
