If you have to ask how to fit a ship on the forums your are not ready to fly the ship you are asking about. Noobs seem to get easily confused with shiny = win. This is not WOW. You can buy every officer mod and stick it on the most expensive faction ship in the game and you are still going to die in a fireball. Infact with Goons and the thousand copycat gankers out there faction/deadspace shortens your life span considerably. Especially if you are actually dumb enough to tell them where your running missions.
You can fit up a nice sentry dominix that will do just fine on almost any lvl 4 mission for less than a rattle hull.

This is not Wow? Damn i must be on the wrong forum then... -__-

I fully agree with Andracin.

If you still have to ask in New Citizen QA about how to fit a Rattlesnake....please go back to frigates for your own life sake.

Yes how dare he ask questions about a specific ship that he hasn't flown before, lets make it a rule that none of us is allowed to ask questions on things we haven't done yet because if we have to ask then we're obviously not ready for it. We're only allowed to ask questions on stuff we HAVE done and know.

Ok,

i've been only training industrial skils since i started playing EVE, i'm not new to eve but i'm "new" to the combat aspect of EVE after doing some research it seemed that the rattlesnake was a good ship for lvl 4's so i started training towards that (also trained the skils for T2 stuff)

after searching the internet for a fit i found out that there are about a thousand of them, and since i have no experience with fitting ships i'm asking it the forum wich one to pick,

i was hoping for a simple answer like " hey, this is a good fit" or " you could change some things to your fit to make it better"

at this point i already made a mistake that could prbly cost me my ship :)

i actually hoped for some more suport :p

anyway thx guys ^^

Here is a passive fit using just T2 gear. I've used it for, well, years actually. Only changes made were the DDA's when they came out and reducing the launchers. Its not quite cap stable, but with my skills it last almost 2 hours. If you need that much time to finish a lvl 4 then you really shouldn't be doing them anyway.

The Rattler is awesome if you have to semi-afk missions, but I would recommend either a Domi or Tengu (depending on your skills) as they finish missions faster.

The launchers are really only used for getting aggro. The fit is slow though due to having no mwd/ab/mjd. You can change out the Invuls for race specific hardeners to get it cap stable and for more tank.

In general it's not the question. But a Rattle in NCQA.....really.

Ships & Modules forum exist for a reason.

But...in befor how should I fit "x" thread (where x is some fancy battleship or capital because anything now is obviously suited for NCQA). might aswel delete all the other categories on the forum.

There's a difference between "dude this is the wrong forum" and "lollercaekes you fcking noob, don't fly ships you don't understand and certainly don't come asking for advice you clown!". The guy you quoted and agreed to did the latter.

Your thread just comes across as trying to wave your shiny pirate battleship in front of the newbies, if you really need advise then this is the wrong form area for it

Edit: ok so I'm guilty of not reading all the replys before posting, so maybe I was a little too blunt. Rattle is certainly a good choice for and end goal mission ship, just make sure you know the mission mechanics well enough before using it as its quite an expensive boat to make a rookie mistake in.
