Standard Carrier Fighters as flyable ships.
Heavy Destroyer Class Vessels, Geared towards front line fighting ( Tougher, all-rounder )

This would also add to the destroyer Sub-Class with minimal development. More a fun side-toy then a mwhahaha addition.

This isn't the first time it popped up, and it been shot down due to technical issues.

In theory, one could use DUST bunnies as fighter/fighter bomber pilots. Their implants simply enable them to be cloned, they control their dropsuits/weapons/vehicles manually. The fighters/bombers are manually-controlled as well, so in theory it should work out fine.

I'm not going to say it wouldn't be a nightmare to implement, though.

It was hinted for Dust bunnies such as myself to do this in the opening scene to dust

The matchmaking aspect would be the harder bit also fights in eve are often very random and often abortive in nature, wouldn't be much fun for a human player to hop in a fighter then get kicked back out a moment later when the carrier pilot changed their mind and pulled fighters to try and escape.

It could make for interesting potential tho if ways around the many issues could be found.
