Don't like missiles, prefer artillary guns, but don't like Minmatar

I'm sitting around, waiting for a couple things to pop up and I wanted to see if anyone else has this problem. Basically as the title states.

Your won't use artillery if you don't like minmater. Everyone but Gallente uses missiles, Caldari use them the most.

Matari weapons dont get used on caldari ships because they arnt a caldari weapon system. Its what makes the races unique

this is not to say however, that one cannot put the "wrong" weapons on a ship -- you just don't get ship bonuses (if any).

yeah thats not entirely true there are fits that use arti on other race ships (not as much as in the past anymore but still), and races aren' t unique since you can crosstrain anything and everything. Would have been much more fun if you could only crosstrain tech 1 ships and equipment from other races.

I know your pain. I like shield tanks, drones and lasers, but there aren't any ships that properly support all three. So I have to resort to abuse Gallente hulls for that and everybody laughs at my fits.

I can think of a few Amarr cruisers that might work well for you.

Yep, Angel ships are something you should look into... although as versatile as Minmatar ships are I'm surprised you can't find a few that you can fit out in a way you are comfortable with.

People often put projectile weapons on other races ships, using the extra cap and fittings to tank with. However you won't get damage bonuses, which makes artilliary used in this way a bit problematic as their main advantage is alpha damage. Still, it's certainly doable.

Why should I provide more information. My Original statement, albiet short, was more than enough to get some interesting points. Such as the Angel ships!

I was just looking for some comments and opinions. The information I provided more than enough for most.
