Excuse my ignorance. Ive read the entire OP and a significant number of comments, however Im still unsure how to join. Which corps are recruiting? Better yet, what are the corps names?

Apologies if I missed it somehow, reading comprehension while at work is low.

There is Blue Republic and Red Federation. They both fight eachother. Just search the corp name in eve and apply, its that simple.

If you are new to PvP and want to break the fear of loosing a ship, here is what to do in 10 easy steps;


1) buy 50 t1 frigs of your choice

2) buy meta 1-4 fittings for said frigs

c) Move them to Poinen 1 - Moon 2 - Space Lane Logistic Support (1 jump from each HQ, 3 jumps from Jita))

iv) Fit said frigs with said meta 1-4 modules

v) Apply to Join either 'Red Federation' or 'Blue Republic'

f) Read and follow suggestions in welcome letter when accepted (Fix your overview)

7) Undock and shoot the first member of the other corp you see

8) Warp pod back to Poinen 1 - Moon 2 - Space Lane Logistic Support - dock

9) Get in new ship

10) Repeat steps 7-9 as needed



I forgot to put Join Fleet in there somewhere around step 7.





I read on the internet that joining Blue gives you a 72% chance of getting Pink-Eye within 30 days, just sayin.....Pirate

Important step! Once you join, you are in the great eternal war. Silly things like hauling all your stuff in an untanked hauler will not save you. Move your stuff FIRST, then destroy. This will make you Lol.

Much better, I know a certain RvB /CSM 8 person who forgot to move thier clone during the last burn poinen event. Was rather funny when he had to fly back from rens ...

Lots of exploding going on.......

Logged in for 1.5 hours today.

I got into fleet and we had 4 fights. We had a 1st timer FC, and Blues loaned us some pilots to even out the odds.

I logged out with 21 kills and 3 losses in 1.5 hours.

Sounds fun doesn't it.

As from downtime today - Monday 18th March - we have removed the Forge only limits from RvBs day to day.

After spending most of my time in eve in 0.0 i thought RvB would be sh*te!


How i was wrong! It's probably the most fun ive had in eve to date, No drama, no sov grind, no travelling to find fights, quick reship and straight back into the pvp.

Most definately worth it, Noob or Leet vet, solo or fleet action, watch your kb stats or join the regular FFA's.
It is what you make of it.
Constant and Casual PVP no fuss!

Im looking a good pvp corp to log in, blow sh*t up and thats it basically lol.

Blue replublic has been recommended however is it true your not allowed to pvp in anthing other than a frigate?

My 157mill pvp sp need a good going in any or all ships :)

Anywho thought id ask before joinging up

Frigates are the preferred ship to fight in only because making isk while in RVB can be problematic. However, there are cruiser down fleets, BC down fleets and the very rare BS down fleet.

Main rule of thumb is fly what you can afford (to loose).
