Thank you for the video!

I was quite pleased to hear that all capsuleers in fleet with the criminals got a criminal flag - I've definitly missed that at earlier live events. I surely don't hope anyone complained about that - if so, they shouldn't have fleeted up with the criminals!

The FIO members also got suspect flags, (though this was to allow us to fire back) ... moments later several 'neutrals' entered limited engagements with the pilots who were present.

all in all it was a lot of fun.

and no, i didn't hear any complaints about being flagged. Though there may have been a little bit of trouble.

It was very sudden, which did cause Logi some issues for a few seconds as we reset safeties. As this is the first time most of us had seen the mechanics.
It was a very good mechanic though, didn't quite encompass everyone correctly, and it might be nice if next time a Dev could remain flagging 'neutrals' who attempt to enter the combat as suspect, or it could become a thing to follow a live event with a few gank nado's and use Limited Engagements to pick at people 1 by 1 simply to help kill board ratio's.

Lovely video as always. Glad you guys were happy with the Suspect flagging. We were a little worried about using it, because we didn't want to get people to be killed suddenly without warning.

It's not a perfect system, and doesn't make as much sense as the old system, but it does make for some interesting fights. I'd go into some conversational detail about whether or not you should get a full on KILL RIGHT for assault (shooting at, but not killing a person in high/low), but I don't want to derail the convo. :)

Is it too much work for you to keep setting people who get involved as suspect as the fight progresses? As I can see people trying to game the system for cheap kill mails if word gets out & 'neutrals' can jump into limited engagements too easily. Normally I'd be against this kind of metagame, but in this case the suspect flag is a work around more than anything. As a lot of the cases the people with it won't have actually committed any kind of criminal action, & certainly not a game defined one.

Usually when people join in the fight, they appear as aggressed to us. Since we have to flag people manually, that means we have to be able to take note of who is suddenly shooting us who wasn't before. It' s not IMPOSSIBLE by any means, but it is rather difficult.

However, we are looking into ways to make it more feasible in the future.

Additionally, we're looking into additional methods of making combat feasible without forcing anyone into a Suspect flag, but it's a tricky one to work with, since we don't only want NPCs vs players, but player vs player.
