Tried twice to invite for the 21day extended trial, the friend being my brother. Every time he trys to log on he gets the message

"While we appreciate your enthusiasm to try EVE, we would also appreciate if you could limit yourself to using a single trial or subscription accounts only."

Is this because we are connecting from the same network and ip# or are family members excluded from this offer?

that's weird -- usually they only block per PC, not per IP address. Try logging out and see if he gets the same error.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

This error happens when you have try to log more than one trial in. It may be filtering on Mac address, which if you're using a NAT router, could then include multiple machines on your network.

The error itself could use a comma to clarify that it means you should use only a single trial, or only use subscription accounts" (when dual-boxing).

I see so as it stands I wont be able to use any of my paying accounts if he wants to use his trial, frustrating but thanks for clearing that up quickly

Hmmm
I just rolled an alt and get the same message.
If I pay for subscription on this char then will I be able to dual window it??

At the moment as a trial its not having it.

Cheers
