t1 cruiser bpo's material requirements buggered?

Hey all, Im just looking to see if anyone else can confirm or deny that the t1 cruiser bpo's are showing both a "materials" and an "Extra Materials" mineral requirement to build off of them. Both sections contain basic minerals for construction.

The materials listed are not mere duplications and have different values for each mineral in each section.

This also appears to affect all the T1 Cruisers except the Maller bpo.

If any of you can confirm of deny this, that would be great!

thanks!

Short answer: It's correct, it's a result of the cruiser rebalancing, don't worry about it.

so I should be just adding all of those together? Im just confused as to why they are all showing this "extra materials" while at the same time not listing anything new. as well as why the maller is like "ima be my own woman" and doesn't follow along with the rest of the cruisers.

Sorry for drunk spelling, Its been a long day.

Yes, you should be adding them together. They're showing extra material because in the cruiser rebalance extra material was added to the requirements of most cruisers and in a patch last week CCP fixed the BPs to correctly show extra and normal material separate.

Apparently the Maller didn't get materials added in the rebalancing.

they're "extra" because EvE players would have otherwise gamed the system -- here's how.

1. find patch notes, see that cruisers are needing an extra x% of all materials
2. build and/or buy a ton of affected cruisers
3. wait til expansion releases
4. melt cruisers, get free minerals.

"Extra Materials" on BPO (or BPC, for that matter) are not affected by ME research, and also are never returned when melting the built item down.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Extra Materials requirements are simply those materials that are unaffected by ME research and are unrecoverable by reprocessing. It has nothing to do with whether they're minerals or whatever.
