Stealth Bomber question.

Me and my corp mate were talking about soloing in stealth bombers. He was talking about how it could have been done a year or two ago. Is this still possible in null and low? If it is what ship/fitting would you suggest? We're ok with fitting faction mods to help but nothing to expensive. If you got any suggestions it be much appreciated!

It's possible, but you are limited in the targets you can engage.
You need to be shooting solo ships at least cruiser sized (ideally BC/BS size) and you obviously need to be in point range. This is not ideal for bombers, range is essentially their tank. Most medium cruiser weapons will track you and kill you quickly, even medium blasters with null are applying damage out to 20+ nowadays. Drones will kill you very quickly.

So, solo you are really limited to:

Industrials / mining ships. (be careful of drones)

Tier 3 BCs except Talos. (Bombers completely nuke those lone sniper tornados if you scram fit them & get close!)

BSs with no heavy neut or small/med drones.

Sniper fit ships.

Larger PVE fit ships with no small rats left in complex/belt (they will switch aggression to you pretty much instantly).


Hunt where your bonused damage type is different from the local rat resists to make it easier to pop perople engaged in PVE. If you double up with a friend in something else providing tackle your viable target selection and survivability increases dramatically, you can keep range and provide dps & ewar while your fleet member tackles.

bombing on high traffing jumpbridges or pick up each 2 sensor dampners with target range script and camp/only take on lone targets. THis needs good piloting, experiance and some implants.

If relativity equals time plus momentum, what equals relativity, if the momentum is minus to the time?

Watching a Noctis salvage 3 plus sleeper sites then popping it before help lands on grid. Almost as satisfying as a cold beer on a hot day.

Fit some tank to survive the drones nowadays.

As an added bonus the loot fits nicely in your cargo hold and may pay for your next couple of bombers.
