Where else should I go? the margins are too small and theres too much competition, but i do make an ok amount of isk (maybe 30 million an hour) I have about 450 milion isk, could i make more off bigger margins? in say, amarr? or would the slower sales/buys work out to hurt me in the end?

Amarr Rens Dodixie and Hek are the other main trade hubs. According to a lot of traders, the margins aren't too small, they're perfectly happy making as much as they do in jita. You could make bigger margins elsewhere. You could also make bigger margins by buying elsewhere, and bringing it to Jita. If you don't want to haul it yourself, use red frog or push.

Look at the map. There are plenty of places to make isk.

I'll probably just stay in Jita.

Well, if I may be so bold as to offer a little business advice?

sell 1,000 items at a 3% profit rather than trying to sell 10 items at a 30% profit.

look at places like WalMart, McDonalds, Aldies, Ollies, BigLots and any other major chain store of any note.

they key is to move volumes of products at prices comparable or lower than your competitor as opposed to trying to make a higher margin on fewer items.

you will still have the occasional 30% markup item, but in the meantime, you get your name out there as a low priced seller which = return business.

I hope this helps

Don't mistake fact for arrogance, supposition for fact, or disagreement for dismissal. Perception is unique in that it can be shared or singular. Run with the pack if you wish, but think for yourself. A sandwich can be a great motivator.

Jita is your best bet since anything of worth is moved thro Jita. Amarr is only 9 jumps from Jita so you get alot of people buying in Amarr and moving to Jita. Rens and Hek or ok but not alot of people out that way and since they are only like3 jumps apart might be 4 cant remember right now. You would find your self back tracking but more room to play with. The Gallente hub is pretty good and far enough away from Jita you dont have to deal with people moving stuff back and forth as much.
