A while ago i started with the COSMOS missions to raise my caldari standing, as i roam around in caldari space.

now i noticed that most missions make me kill or harm guristas pirate faction.
So what i am wondering now; would it be possible to get and keep a high caldari standing, and raise the standing with guristas as well?

I did search on this topic but the only thing i find is guides how to fixx standing, and it does not say anything about this. is there for example a mutual enemy faction you could kill to get standing with both?

According to this link Guristas fight with Caldari so not likely you could keep both sides equally happy.

Well, maybe you could somehow run same amount of missions for both factions and balance standings but probably you would need to kill a lot of Caldari first (and drop their standings) to gain access to Guristas' agents and play sophisticated political games from there on.

Since they are at war with each-other i know the standing will go down. currently i got 4.something caldari standing and -0.01 guristas standing.

also because they are at war, i was wondering if they do have a mutual enemy, so both can be pleased. even if this would mean declining missions untill you have to battle the common enemy.

I would guess my guristas standing will drop further though, as i want to raise my standing to at least 6.0 for the level 4 cosmos missions.
kind of a shame you can't really make weird combinations WITHOUT balancing the standings (yes, balancing would be a possibility i will look in to)

Not a lot of point unless you intend going to a gurista station in null and running missions.

To your first question, yes. It will require several very disciplined years and time spent in Gurista 0.0.


As to the second question, not really.
